New Years' Resolutions

Thought I might post some New Years' Resolutions:

1) Don't be such a fatty-meaning I tend to pig out, especially on nachos. Maybe eat slower? I'm not too bad most the time, but I get on these food kicks, and that is all I eat. Maybe eat more veggies!

2) Keep in touch with people. Drop a line once in a while! Maybe a new awesome phone would help :)

3) Continue my stories I have started to write. Who knows...if not publish later, at least I have something to share!

4) Limit tv/movies. I think I have other things I could be doing...like practice music, gain web design skills, or other things that could help get a job that pays more (yay).

5) I need to train myself to clean before going to bed. It will be hard work, but it would be nice to have that.

Those are the big ones. It's always good to set goals. Always good to train yourself. For example, I trained myself to eat plain oatmeal. It worked. I think I'll train myself on another healthy food to love. I'll have to think about this one. Maybe just like veggies better. That would be nice.

Yesterday: worked out, watched tv, talked on phone, played DS for a bit.

Weekend review:

Friday: I was supposed to go out. But I felt like I was getting sick, so stayed at home, at Chuy's and watched tv. Saw Toys. It was horrible.

Saturday: slept in. watched a movie, ate salad. Went shopping at Walmart. It was a one stop shop. Got most of the presents I needed. Going to Safeway for the gift cards.

Sunday: was very lazy. ate a lot of nachos. worked out, read watched tv. Pretty good day, but could have accomplished more. Needed to rest.

Party Time

It's Friday, so it's party time! Going to Headhunters tonight with Alto section. Should be fun. I just hope I don't poop out.

Yesterday, watched Confessions of a Shopaholic. It was ok. Ate a ton of nachos, felt fat, so I had to work out. My clothes fit better at least. I really want to buy those toning shoes and roller blades. I somehow never run out of work out stuff to buy.

Count Down

Ok, I'm counting down the days until the 24th not because of Christmas...yes I can't wait, but more like days until I don't have to work for a long time. I can't wait to just read, watch tv, play video games, and sleep in! Good times awaiting! Not much going on...just really hungry.

Pizza My A**

The title is a play on Pizza My Heart. I love pizza. Yesterday, went to Caffe Italia and had yummy pizza. Sadly, my a** paid dearly for it, so I worked out. Feeling much better now. I was feeling really fat. I'm still fat, but what one workout can do is amazing.

Not much else is happening, which is always good. More working out to do, especially since tomorrow night having a potluck. It never ends!

I love Lawrence! See, when I first came to work, a random lady I've never seen before in this building told me that I better perk up. Ok, I wanted to slap her so badly, but I just kinda laughed. Then, told coworkers about it to let off steam. Then, I remembered this quote and felt better, knowing that other people feel the same way. Especially a guy like Lawrence. He just had the best reaction to this question from Peter.

Yesterday, worked out finally and cleaned finally. Good times. Feeling like really angry and annoyed, which is normal for me at least once a week to feel towards people, because people are stupid.

Them!

Let me explain my title. Today, as I walk into work, I see a coworker wiping the floor. So, not a good sign. Turns out, a lot of ants came in this morning. I still see stragglers every time I look down. Not a good time. Although the ants are not giant, they creep me out.

I got a birthday card from the Dean finally. Wooo!

Where I left off:

Thursday: After work, went to Mel's diner in Vacaville. Got a burger...getting more and more fat. Went to Candy Cane Lane and Lollipop Lane. Those streets were crazy! But nothing can top Eugene Oregon's whole neighborhood full of crazy lights and displays PLUS the music. I am spoiled because of that. Everything else is just not as good.

Friday: stayed on the couch and watched tv until it was time to leave for the concert in Oakland-Not So Silent Night. There was crazy traffic, so we took the streets the last few miles. Missed the first band, Metric, but that's ok. Got to see Vampire Weekend, 30 Seconds to Mars, AFI, and Muse. Sad to see that AFI wasn't the last one. Davey wore gold pants. They put on a good show. I saw Jared Letto sing...he was sick but his voice was still really good. Their last song was messed up by a sound error...sound went off. Finally went back on. Oh, there was a gay couple in front of us...being kissy kissy. I never see that. I fell asleep on the way home.

Saturday: Slept in finally. Went shopping at Natomas. I was really tired. Got food, but that didn't last long if you know what I mean...ya, it's gross. I sat around a lot after that.

Sunday: Went to WC to eat lunch with some friends. Good times. Had another awesome burger. Went to parents after that for my bday party. So chaotic that night...Matt was late, Sara had stomach issues and my parents kep harrassing her. Classic mom came out when she made an obvious comment, I was freezing, so I kept my jacket on. Sara said that it is like the artic tundra in there...so true. We were freaking out when we found that the heat was set to 50 degrees. Got some good stuff. Was tired, and fell asleep around 10:30.

Now, hungry, so snacky time.

Celebrations Continue

Yesterday was good. The Law School party was really fun. Met a few new people and hung out with the ladies from upstairs. Had a few drinks. Mack met me there, hung out at the bar for a bit. He gave me my prized bday present at home. I passed out pretty easily while watching tv.

Today, is my coworker's bday and got donuts. I ate too much. I feel really fat. Feels like an extension of my bday with all this food and happy birthdays. I'm tired. Today is my Friday, so I am really happy. I'm going to go home and relax, read a lot and watch tv. Tomorrow, sleep in (I hope) chillax, and go to the concert in Oakland. Yay!

Oh this was funny. We were waiting for a movie to load on netflix to watch and it was taking a long time, so I was like: oh no, my interwebs are not working. Yes, it's sounds retarded, but it is just slang nowadays...epic!

I got muffins this morning and a card from my coworkers...awww. I get to party tonight at the Law School mixer! Can't wait! Good food, good drinks...all free.

Yesterday, planned on doing nothing...and that is what I did. Ate some, watched tv, movies, read. Good times.

It's really cold. I'm glad that my friend from upstairs here at work gave me a space heater. That was awesome! Been using it a lot so far.

I'm thinking of visiting my old coworkers...we'll see if I have the time. That would be nice to drop in though!

Yesterday, watched the usual...Desperate Housewives. Went to chorus. Missed everyone! Missed it a lot! They sang happy birthday to me and we had cookies. Very good times. Watched Star Trek while in my Snuggie. More good times.

Today, plan on practicing singing and or just passing out and enjoying a warm apt. It's hibernation time for me.

Let's Count the Annoying People

Ok, I will talk about my weekend, but I got to say this first. So, I go down the stairs like a normal person, sticking to the right, the normal path of traffic and some girl comes up on the wrong side, so she goes to the other side to keep going. I go up the stairs about five minutes later and this woman with a large bag comes down on the wrong side and I stand there for a moment, thinking she would move, but no, that woman just stood there, so I walked on the wrong side, hoping I don't get trampled by some other idiot walking too fast down the stairs. I make it alive, but this is the biggest annoying thing about working in this building: idiots. They clutter the hallway so you can't really get by and walk on the wrong side of the hallway, rush down the stairs, walk in groups slowly so you can't get by, block the path completely, especially if you are pushing a cart or holding a large object. They must have sensors in their brain to tell them when exactly is the most annoying time to be annoying. But, they are always that way, so the probablity is high for them being in your way. These are supposed to be law students. I thought they were supposed to be smart? Really, they are all the same too, so it must be a law thing. Maybe they all get a microchip in the brain on their first day to cause these annoying things to happen. We all agree that they are annoying, it's not just me. Just another reason to hate people in general.

Weekend:

Friday: went home, ate, watched tv.

Saturday: bookclub at Pure Grain...really good food! Went shopping for a little bit. Remembered the book sale, so got some good ones. Finally went to Safeway. Worked out.

Sunday: slept in, didn't get dressed until 12:30. Got a haircut, not too much cut. Did laundry. Ate a ton of nachos. Relaxed.

Will Power

Yesterday, went home, ate leftover Chinese from lunch and watched tv. I was really tired, so I got in pj's by around 8. Decorated the apt. Watched The Howling, which is supposed to be a classic warewolf movie, but Teen Wolf is still my favorite. Passed out watching tv.

I have been really good not eating that many sweets and I can tell I feel better and look better for it. Just gotta do this everyday. Sugar makes me feel crappy, so I have to remind myself of that and I should do fine.

Decoration

Yesterday, worked out to old school The Firm videos (but not my oldest ones). Watched tv. Played some Wii, but I have Wii arm, meaning my arm hurts from playing Wii Sports. Watched Paul Blart: Mall Cop. It was worse than I thought it would be. Not too exciting...just really tired last night.

Today, decorated the workroom. Going to Hunan for lunch. Yay, we get out!

Wii Sports Master

Yesterday, went to TAPS to get bus passes, since Mack finally demanded his permit back, which I was happy to oblige. Then, we went to the Hawaiian BBQ with some co-workers. Got my BBQ Chicken. So good! Have left overs. Watched some tv, had Kirk Cameron in the background...I don't know why I keep watching that Does God Exist? debate with him in it. I find evolution amazing I guess...nature is pretty crazy how it works. I played Mack Wii Sports and kicked his butt in all the games! I am the master! We played some Mario with him.

Had a horrible stomachache for a little while this morning. I don't think I got good sleep.

Today, I have to work out and also decorate the apt for Xmas! I have been slacking.

Oh, forgot to add this. Mack created Mii's for us. My character looks like me, it's funny. Mack's character looks angry due to his eyebrows. I love it.

I'm a Playa' Once Again

Had an awesome weekend! Well, except for Wednesday before Thanksgiving, I took sick leave because my ear was killing me.

Tuesday night, before my ear troubles, went to Plainfield Station, a dive bar in Woodland, which is actually really close to my apt. Went with co-workers and other law people, one professor who is awesome, he bought us beer and food! Had a burger, but scarfed it since I was really hungry and had beer already. We talked about annoying people in the law school. Awesome times! We need to do it again!

Thursday: Thanksgiving. Went to pick up my sister in Vallejo (the ghetto). Waited in the Target parking lot and an Asian lady asked it Target would open that day. I told her I'm just waiting for someone. Went to Susie's. Had a good time, ate lots of cheese ball, drank some wine, watched The Wedding Singer and Susie said that Drew Berrymore reminds her of Sara...and she does remind me of Sara every time I see her. I thought I was the only one who thought that. Got to look at the Black Friday ads. Saw that the Nintendo DS Lite is only $98 at Walmart, so decided to take Sara to Vallejo and go back to Davis to go to the Walmart sale.

Black Friday: Got up at 7 and got dressed (did not shower) and went to Woodland's Walmart. Stood in line for almost an hour, but got my cheap Nintendo DS Lite and a Wii. It was sitting right in front of me, so I just had to go for it. Went to Target in Davis, it was not busy at all. Got some DS games and a Wii controller and Mario game. Charged my DS, then went to WC for more shopping with my mom. Took her to the train place for Nikki's bday. Went to Kohl's and Target. She got Mack a Wii game and us sheets for our bed. Went back. Went to SC in the rain. Took a while. Stopped at Mickey D's for a snack. Got to SC, with Mack all excited and waiting for me. Had some food, showed off my DS. Stayed home, since I was really tired.

Saturday: Went to SF for a car show. Got awesome tapas after. Went to a SC party at night. Not that great since everyone knew each other and we didn't know that many. Got a shot and enjoyed the dome shaped house. I liked it, very SC. Went to sleep.

Sunday: Went on a walk on East Cliff. Went to Best Buy. Got 4 Police Academy movies in one for cheap. Ate an early dinner. Played more DS.

Monday: The best day, since I vegged out, read, played DS, watched tv, worked out, got Chuy's. Yum!

Today, back to the real world. Good to be back. I was getting to be too much of a hermit. Planning things now.

Tired

Yesterday, I was really tired. I got home, went to Chuy's...which was so damn good. Watched Spies Like Us and passed out and watched other shows. It was funny. I was craving Sierra Mist, but we didn't have any. Mack reminded me that we have vending machines at our apts. I got all excited, I am not used to having vending machines at a place where I live. They didn't have Sierra Mist, but got a Diet Pepsi. Mackenzie was laughing at me for being so excited about that.

Still tired. It's gonna be a long day, but then we are going to Plainfield Station for dollar taco night. I am fat. I ate way too much candy yesterday. I shouldn't eat candy period. It's hard to control myself. I need like an electronic collar that will shock me if I start to unwrap candy. Now that is a good invention (haha).

I know why now I watch a lot of tv and read a lot, so that I don't go crazy and kill people, because people can suck big time...one of those days. It is an escape from the reality that I have to live on the same planet as many idiots. Oh, here is a video of some Idiots. But then, I'll be getting dollar tacos tonight and perhaps beer.

Ok, now I really want a Wii!!! There is a Super Mario game out now and I miss playing Mario! If I don't get it for Xmas, I'm going to buy one for myself.

V is for Visitors

Had a weekend full of visitors:

Friday: went to pick up our Turkey Trot stuff. Went to Chipotle's and sat around and watched stuff.

Saturday: Got up early to do the Turkey Trot. It was freezing. I wore two sweatshirts, a beanie, and gloves and I was still freezing. I had holes in my pants! I kept saying that. Did the mile walk. Got free food at the end. Took a shower and barely got ready before Mack's parents and grandparents arrived. We went to get Thai and had awesome food. Was in a food comma and watched some Japanese game shows. They left earlier than I thought they would. I was tired and I fell asleep for a little bit. Mack slept forever. I watched tv. Lee called and asked to stay over night. We watched a lot of Youtube videos.

Sunday: Went to the Unitarian Universalist church with Lee. We met some young people and there were a lot of old people. They said they are in the Young Adult group, so I hope to see them there. Lee liked the service. We went to Cafe Italia and had awesome calzones. Went soon after to pick up Mel and go see A Christmas Carol with co-workers. It was in 3D and I liked the movie. Went to Village Pizza and Grill. My pizza kinda sucked. But, I'll try it again. It wasn't a Margharita pizza and it was cold (I just remembered it was cold this morning). I almost forgot the best thing that happened! Mack cracked my back! I needed it. I want him to do it more. It felt sooo good!

I am already in the holiday mode. I just want to go home right now. I need a vacation...

Back to my Roots

Yesterday, I did my laundry. I know, very exciting. But, glad to have gotten that done. While putting my clothes away, I was watching something on Netflix Watch Now that was about angels and demons. I was starting to get scared since I was alone, so I switched it to a Nova program about early man and how we became human. I used to watch Nova all the time and also loved learning about early man. I loved the Lucy story. I still like this stuff, it has just been a while since I've seen it. I also have been starting to love whales and dolphins again, just like when I was a teenager. My first love was monkeys/apes. Then I had a thing for all cats. Then I had a thing for dolphins and whales...ok, maybe not in that order, and I think these overlapped a lot too. But I remember I loved Flipper. And, I had a subscription to Cat Fancy. I don't know what happened in that time between...I guess college happened. I still feel that animals are very smart and I like animals more than people. I also am in awe of how animals evolve to adapt to new changes in the Earth. With all this Origins of Specials with a "special" Intro from the religious right about their feelings about creatism and how it conflicts with evolution...I say wtf? I feel that evolution helps prove there is a God, in my opinion. I mean, look at nature. It's F*cking amazing! I also believe in the spirit world. But, I could go on and on about my stories, so I might write that sometime...but not now.

Sexy sweats

Yesterday, went to Target with Mack. I got sweat pants and a sweat shirt for working out...and just a few other things...really, I didn't go crazy.

I surprised myself when I felt like working out even though I planned on resting. So, I put on my sexy sweats and was actually really hot for once! I drank almost 32 oz of water during the workout. That is a lot for me. Watched some Planet Earth and then passed out.

That night, around 4am, I was blissfully sleeping when all of a sudden I hear this loud thud and I realized that Mack smacked me on the side of my head with his elbow. I did not fall back to sleep. At least I'm not super scary, but I told Mack in the morning and I was scary then. I think the noise of it freaked me out most of all. And I was mad since I couldn't go back to sleep.

My big plan today is to do laundry. Wooo!

Happy Hump Day!

I am glad it's hump day. We also have a party at work in an hour, and I can't wait. That will eat up some time...I'm really tired.

I've been eating less and better things, so I can tell I'm losing weight now. I hope this continues. I need to not eat one piece of candy because I know I'll just keep eating it. I eat mostly due to either being tired or bored. I'll try to drink more, even if it is diet coke, but tea would be best.

Yesterday, worked out. Went to Kohl's for their awesome sales. I got three pairs of pants and 6 pairs of socks all for under $30 bucks! That was amazing! It rained on my way back and I got a free car wash as well! Awesome! It was sleepy time when I got home. Passed out around 10.

Today, going to Target with Mack to do some more damage. Plan on relaxing today and reading. Crystal light sounds really good to me...

It's Cold

Yesterday, went home, pigged out and went to chorus practice. Was good, got new music to practice over the break for our spring concert. I got called out for knowing how to play the flute, but I told them I'd need to fix it before even thinking of playing. We had our weekly KFC hang out and actually ate something that time. Got a snacker...it was only ok... if they had toasted the buns, it would have been a lot better. I was amazed that Mack fell asleep before me.

New things

Friday, took off early from work...didn't feel that great. Watched tv and ate awesome food we made.

Saturday: Went to the book club meeting. Four of us...the hardcore people. It was fun. Saw a friend there randomly. haha that was funny. Then went shopping...Old Navy, Bath and Body Works, and Costco. Worked out and did more nothing.

Sunday: Mack and I went the the Unitarian Universalist Church in West Davis. I liked the service. Not too scary. There are many things to do for this church, so I'll check it out again.
Played tennis with Mackenzie. Worked out. Itched to take advantage of the awesome sale at Kohls', so took a friend and found some cute boots and tops then went to Target for food. Good weekend!

I feel dark and moody

It's Friday the 13th and I feel dark and moody. I got dressed this morning feeling like wearing black and I find out at work that it's Friday the 13th. Cue Twilight Zone music.

Yesterday, I got home, pigged out, and watched tv and read a lot. I feel like doing the same thing today. Feel like crap honestly. Tired and very quiet and hating life and everyone.

Wishin'

Tuesday: After work, played scrabble! We had good food, good drinks, and Super Scrabble, and our Scrabble bible. I won! That was a first. I hit it big with the word lazy. Good times. Had a lot of sugar that day and felt gross.

Wednesday: Day off! Got up early (so mad I couldn't sleep in). Read and then finally got ready. Did nails at a friend's place, tried the Hawaiian bbq place. It was so good!!! I can't wait to try more stuff from it. Went to Target and got Clue the movie and other stuff. Worked out watching Clue. Felt better after that...I was feeling fat. Watched tv, read, ate more, slept.

Today: Wishing I could take some hours off with the start program, but don't think I can do much. Wish I had more time just to do nothing.

eau de' toilette KFC

Yesterday, went home, watched tv and ate. Went to chorus. Good times. Meet a newbie who says that Joe is her bartender. I like her already, even though she is a Soprano 2. Think I sounded good. Went to KFC with the girls. Talked until 10. Got lost for a bit in Sac. Got home. Couldn't sleep and ate a hot pocket at midnight. Finally fell asleep.

Today, I keep smelling KFC fumes. That is so seductive. Someone said I should go to Walmart and seduce some people. haha.

Tonight, it's on. Scrabble night. I'll lose for sure...

Weekend Review

Had another awesome weekend! I've noticed I've said that a lot recently...actually ever since I got weekends off! Even if I don't do anything...my weekend is good just so I can relax and do nothing. Sometimes you need to do that. I know I have to do that once a week...even if it is only for a few hours.

Friday: Got Chuy's. Some lady asked us if we like that place. I said it was the best Mexican place in Davis, which is true. Not sure what I did...probably watched stuff and then passed out.

Saturday: Woke up early...but then got to watch almost four hours of Golden Girls! I finished that disc. I love that show. Mackenzie makes fun of me for watching an old people show. But that show is for all ages. Went to JC Penny and bought some good stuff. Really good stuff for really cheap. They had a lot of people working. Went to Costco to eat. Went to Best Buy to check out netbooks. I like Toshiba because I like how the keyboard is spaced out. Hoping to find a deal online. Worked out, got dressed four hours before we would leave for dinner at The Melting Pot. Watched a lot of tv. Dinner was awesome! We got a private booth. Had a four course meal. Cheese fondue, salad, main course, and dessert. The main course was fun, since we cooked our own food and had a ton of sauses. The whole dinner took like 2 1/2 hours. I was carrying triplets when we left (really full).

Sunday: Slept forever. Finally got up and went to Safeway. Realized we still needed a few things, so I went to Target. Got some makeup as well. Watched tv/movies/read. Felt lazy and tired.

Today, I was thinking about something funny walking to work, and this man says,"you are happy today. "I explained I was thinking of something funny and he said that it was great that I was so happy. He told me to have a good day at work. Now, this is great in general, but the thing that made me really happy was the fact that for once, someone assumed I was going to WORK not SCHOOL! That is a first for me. Granted, I was dressed nicely today, as I have been doing these past fee weeks. That helped. I wear a backpack, so the fact that he said work made me really happy. I'm glad dressing this way makes me look older. But, I still get that I look young business. It depends on the person maybe. Ok ok, he could have picked up on the fact that I mentioned I work, but he could have still thought I was at school and working part time, right???

Butter me up

Yesterday, took Mack to the country club for his first time. Ran and did the stair master. Mack made steak pan fried with butter and garlic bread with butter, of course. That was really good. Watched some Star Trek. Read some, then pooped out at 10.

Today, I'm not sure what I'll be up to. Relax is all I know.

Wil-gotta love your sweaters!

Yesterday, stomach felt a lot better. Even ate a fatty lamb gyro at that new stand across from Chem 194. Soooooo good! Pretty good deal too.

Jogged and biked at the country club. Ate a lot and watched three episodes of Wil Wheaton's awesome sweaters (Star Trek). So sad, that Yar chick died. I was like, it's too soon! It was less than one season she was on! Ya, not much exciting that day but it kept me from online shopping.

I really should clean a bit today...

Just thought of this. When I used to have roomates, I would try to spend as much time as possible away from the apt. I would take classes, work, go to the gym, or hangout at Mack's. Now, I love being at home, so I watch a ton of tv and just hang around the house, which is ok, but I have those days where all I do is watch tv after work. So, I hope to go to the gym more or to a cafe to read or something so that I am not consumed by watching tv or just being lazy. Ya, we'll see how this works. I guess it's also nice to have a place to work out that is not at home too. I have a date with the gym tonight. Wooo!

Tums Tu Tum Tum TUM!!!

Remember that Tums commercial that said "Tums Tu Tum Tum TUM!!!" or something like that? I do. Good times. Tums also reminds me of my grandma who always had a couple of Tums bottles in her house. One was usually near her pimped out chair. I say pimped out, because it was awesome. Me and my sisters and brother would try to sit in it while my grandma got up to do something. Then she would yell for us to get up and that we did! Her chair: comfy, well padded with warming pad for her back that had a remote to adjust warmth and vibration, foot stool, nice lamp, wood table with phone, tums, tv guide, romance novel, nail file, kleenex, remote control, coaster, and beverage. Yes, that was the ultimate chair. Well, mine would be a lazy boy recliner. Here is my pimped out chair at the moment: lazy boy recliner with lamp with wood table with coaster, beverage, two books, paper, pens/pencils, magazines. Not as crazy, but just what I need.

Anyway, I went all over the place just then. I brought tums to work today. Good call. Yesterday I stayed at home due to stomach issues. Yes, watched a lot of tv yesterday. Kinda bored after a while.

Monday after work: went to get more contacts and got Dos from Mack. Went to chorus practice. This was a fun day. We got in a circle and practiced listening to others sing and trying to be able to hear everyone's voices. We did the Star Spangled banner and did it the American version and Joe cracked up during it. Wow, it does sound horrible that way! Got some KFC (a drink) with some ladies and had some laughs. I had caffeine so it was really hard for me to go to sleep that night.

Halloween

Had an awesome weekend.

Friday: Went home. Watched the Candyman on Netflix. It was horrible. Not scary. So disappointed in Scully :) Mackenzie came home and was kinda drunk, so I drove to the movie theater and we watched Paranormal Activity. It was freaky and the last scenes were very scary. I didn't cry. It was not as scary as The Ring, which is the all time scariest movie I've seen. The Grudge is second. Got a bit freaked out afterwards, had to go to the bathroom with the doors open. Fell asleep early, like the old person that I am.

Saturday: Slept in. Barely got ready in time to go to my friend's place and watch Halloween type movies. I fell asleep during it. Mack had to fill me in on the way home. Tried on my costume. Looked awesome. Got a ride to Sac to the hotel, had dinner at the Elephant Bar. Went to the Exotic Zone Ball, finally, it took some people a long time to get ready. I was ready early, so it was boring during that time. We got a limo bus, it was pimp. Leather seats coach style. We were arriving in style. There was a ton of people still buying tickets. We got through pretty quickly. Some good costumes: Slash and the Sham Wow guy are the top of my list. There were some snake charmer people that was funny. I had two respectful men ask me if I wanted to dance. I rejected them. I felt weird. Then, the other ones just jump in and we had to get away from several. I cannot get away from people molesting me...even Monica was all over me and kept checking me out. Cuz I'm cute!!! She kept saying I was cute. :) I was the first one passed out in the bed and people were still talking until 4 am.

Sunday: Went home early. Went in bed for a bit. Watched some shows while eating Japanese noodles. I was tired still. Did laundry, went on a walk with Mack. That gave me some energy, so I worked out. Finished laundry. Cleaned, put stuff away. Watched tv, read. Felt really tired by 9 due to the time change.

Today: Woke up at 5:30, but stayed in bed. It was weird since it was so light out. I felt like I was late. Will be getting contacts after work (finally) and going to chorus practice. We were talking about what we will do on the Wednesday off next week. Someone told me not to go to Target. Damn, I am so addicted to that place! They have really cute stuff though! Dressing better is easier since they have cheap stuff but it's still cute. Ahhh, it's so evil. I have replaced a few pieces of clothes, because I cannot store any more.

One Year anniversery

Well, it's actually tomorrow, but since that is a weekend, I'll say that it has been a whole year since I interviewed with this job I have now! Isn't that crazy! It's been a whole year and it doesn't seem that long ago. It was a good day that year. After the interview, I went to the Winchester Mystery House.

Yesterday, I was all excited about going to Target and Mack was a downer. I didn't get a chance to look at clothes and makeup! How sad! But I'll be going alone so I can enjoy the shopping experience. Got a nice rice cooker/steamer, so I'm excited about that. Got a lot more things since we needed some food stuff. This Target being in Davis is very dangerous! At least the clothes and shoes are inexpensive! I told myself I don't need any more clothes, but I have been dressing up for work, and although I have some nice stuff, I don't have many shoes to go with it and accessories. Those things add up, but are good to have. I have been dressing nicely since Sunday. Yesterday, I got compliments so I like the attention. People treat you differently and they look at you when you dress up. My thing started when Lee and I went to church, so I decided to look a bit nicer. Then we went to Target and I found cute shoes, so I'm like, well, I have to dress nicely in order to wear these. So, on and on it goes.

Today, having a Halloween potluck, so I made pumpkin bread last night. I was surprised that Mack wanted to try it since he hates pumpkin. He said it smells good. I'll be making more.

Target

Yesterday, went to the gym, jogged more than walked this time. Not hard for me. I was starving and cold when I got home, so took a shower, and made awesome food. Had chicken sandwich, spicy! Cut up a lot of veggies because I was hungry, so brought it to work for lunch. Watched some Tales from the Crypt and wore my snuggie. Mack massaged me and I got really tired, so I went in bed at 8:30 and probably fell asleep soon afterward.

Made a list this morning of things to get at Target after work. Very excited about it. So bad. I've been there three times so far since Oct. 8th or so. I keep seeing something I want and they have some cute clothes and accessories. So, ya, I'm pretty screwed when it comes to saving money. Oh, my coworker just gave me a coupon that came in the mail just now! Yay! I need some things for making pumpkin bread tonight, so it's my excuse. Also, we are getting a rice cooker for all that rice we have. So, ya, that is my day, Target and baking. Good times.

Pink Lady

Yesterday, I told Mack I was gonna hang out on campus and read after work. He broke down and said he would go to a movie with me, like I wanted. We saw Where the Wild Things Are. I was warned it was not a kid movie, that it has darker/deeper meanings behind it. I liked how it was not cutesy like all those other movies, it was refreshing. I helped put in the food that he got from his parents. His mom has diabetes so all this food they just bought is now ours. I brought some stuff to work.

Went to the farmer's market and got pink lady apples. I love them so much!

Windy!

Yesterday, went to the country club and worked out. Teenagers there was annoying! They probably thought I was in hs. grrrr. Because, they left right after some older adults came in. I thought I looked like a soccer mom when I wore work out clothes?...

Very tired. I fell asleep at 9. Mack came home in the middle of the night (ok ok, midnight) but that is late. Caught him naked about to take a shower. I had to use the bathroom. Good thing we are comfortable like and old married couple.

Saw an almost dead cricket in the shower this morning. Woke Mack up due to my scream and pounding it dead. He went back to bed.

Very windy today. Went outside a lot already, not really caring to fix my hair too much. Hyped up on tea. Love it!

Awsome Weekend!

Friday: went to Newsbeat after work. Got some puzzle games and a few mags, then felt a headache and went home. Read and watched tv.

Saturday: The big day! Got up, worked out, cleaned, parents came over, left early to help set up for my concert. Concert (yay, it was packed!), sold raffle tickets at intermission, went home tired. That day went by way too slowly. Happy to have to concert over with. Stayed up late.

Sunday: Slept in, got all nicely dressed to meet Lee for church at Davis Community Church. The service was ok, met a lady, but not really time to meet anyone. Lee and I went to Aquarius and asked about spiritual churches in town and found out there are two. We will be checking those out the coming weeks. Trying to see what fits for us. Went to Target. Spent a long time there and bought shoes and clothes. Went to Natomas, In n Out, Spirit, got a costume! Went to my place to do the Ouji board. Got this message,"Moley. Dead. Water. Lake." and also kept getting, "mama" like five times in a row. Watched some of Passengers. Met Syd at the movies to see Whip It. Was good, caught up a little. Had fun!

Today, dressed nicely again. Love my new boots. Love my new coffee/tea mug. Wondering how the heck I can fit this pants I'm in...thought I was really fat...Still will be working out a lot! Trying to eat more veggies and less fast food.

I love to Sing!

Yesterday, I needed to get dividers for my music, so I was like, "Oh, I guess I need to go to Target." Of course I was excited for an excuse to go there. I looked around the store, saw a few cute clothes, but didn't have time to try stuff on. Went to the book isles. Found a couple that I was dying to buy. Went to the school supply area. Saw a Dwight notebook that I just had to buy. Got the last one. The other ones were Michael. Not as good as Dwight.

Went to the concert's church for tech rehearsal. I had a lot of fun. I'm in front, but better than standing up on top of the scary bleacher thingies. I was getting into the songs. I messed up on a few areas, so I'll be practicing tonight and tomorrow. I was tired all day at work, but when I was in Target and practicing, I had a lot of energy. Sitting down makes me tired. Plus, it's boring.

There are picketers out front to do with the construction workers. I heard there are some police cars there now. I wonder what is going on.

I think Lee and I are going to Church this Sunday. I liked the people there, they love all people, not the scary Christians who say gays should burn in Hell or judge others. Jesus was about love, people!

Japanese Game Show Addict

Yesterday, got home, really hungry so I pigged out. Watched a few tv shows. Then launched into what I would not know at the time as Japanese Game Show Addiction time. I watched those shows on Youtube for about five hours. I had to stop myself at 11pm so I could get some sleep. I was really tired, too tired to feel like reading, which I would have prefered myself to do. I saw some good shows though.

Today I am tired. Going to tech rehersal tonight. Gotta get pumped up! At least it will not consist of expending too much energy...

Country Club Member

It's official. I am a snobby country club member. I went yesterday and was kinda disappointed in the gym. The cardio room was just ok. They did have a cool treadmill that seems easier on the knees, so that is cool. They have a weight room that is nice though. There are a lot of tennis courts, a lap pool, a swimming pool, and a baby pool, a nice lawn area, b ball court, soccer field, pool tables, ping pong table, bbq pits, paddle boats, and locker rooms. I am looking forward to the pool tables and picking up tennis perhaps. It's that expensive at all. $40 per apt., so $20 bucks for each of us. I like having a nice outdoor place to read, so when Spring comes, I'll probably be over there a lot. And the paddle boats! Can't wait. Might take up swimming again too. Hope I still have my cap and goggles.

Really tired after working out. Watched Vampire Diaries. Watched some of Leprecaun in the Hood. Cheesy.

Today, I plan on doing some walking/yoga and start writing again. Been way too long. Got some stories in mind and a few that I have left hanging. Things will finally slow down after Halloween (not too confident on that though...). More like things are more up in the air due to what our chorus will have schedualed for events and where my craziness will take me. I have spurts of energy and I am on the low side of energy right now. Summer was really crazy and now I need to focus on relaxing (riiight) and new goals.

Japanese Game Shows

Yesterday, went to chorus. Had fun, but feeling the pressure of this weekend's concert. Can't wait til it's over, honestly. I like singing for fun mostly, so I guess I need to get used to performing. When I got back, Mackenzie and I watched Japanese Game Shows. This one that they couldn't laugh was harsh, they shot blow darts in their butts. This one show was in a hospital and it was pitch black and there was weird sounds and creepy people. These shows are great. Can't get enough. Oh and there is an MRI one that is freaky!

Today, I hope I finally join the country club right next door. I want to use their gym to train for the Davis Stampede. I need a goal and something to look forward to. Might work up to Team in Training sometime...

Good Weekend

Friday: went home, worked out, Mackenzie was sleeping, watched tv, went to bed.

Saturday: went to the Farmer's Market. Got apples, apple juice, almonds, tomatoes, and pita bread. Went to Safeway. Made awesome chicken pitas. Went to Fremont to meet up with friends to go to Claim Jumper and Pirates of Emerson. Those haunted houses made me scream. One part was funny, this guy was chasing me and I tried to open the door and Mackenzie had me push it instead. Just like in a horror film. Another place there was fog and you couldn't see anything. Very good time.

Sunday: slept in, watched Elvira: mistress of the dark. It was funny. Went to see Zombieland. Hilarious, very good. I loved how they went to Bill Murray's house. That guy does make Tom Cruise a B-lister. This was funny. After the movie, I told Mackenzie I needed to get gas. I needed to get a scarf for the concert. But, how this was said, makes it funny. I said, I need to get gas, might as well go to Target. Mackenzie was making fun of me for being like Stan's dad in that Walmart episode: "oh, shoot. a broken glass. guess I have to go to Walmart". I went there just for a scarf. I came back with two scarves, a ear hat, a necklace, a waterbottle, a coffee mug, a beginner's yoga pack, yoga socks, and a brain games booklet. All this for over a hundred bucks! Opps! I went for ONE item. Target is evil! Well, I've wanted to get yoga stuff, but still. Worked out, did my yoga. It's good. The guy is wearing a speedo and is buff.

Yesterday: Called in sick. Slept forever. Read a book, watched tv. Took a shower late in the day. Ordered pizza and watched Bad Taste, which was pretty bad. One of the guys looks like Heath Ledger. Same area...The movie was pretty bad. I liked the cardboard cutout of the Beatles in the car though. Feeling better at night, so Mackenzie and I went through this list of Internet Sensations, and I didn't see a few of them. Some were ok, but I am amazed and ashamed I have not even seen this one before:

I love tea!

Yesterday, went home early. I got a ride from a co-worker to my car since it was insane outside. Crazy storm! At least my power didn't go out. Did my kettle ball workout. It doesn't seem like a hard but my legs are a bit sore and I was sweating like crazy. Watched some tv, read some, then watched Saw V right right before I went to bed. I guess nothing fazes me. Saw VI is coming to theaters soon. We just get it from Netflix.

I had a dream that I woke up and was grumpy. Then I woke up and was grumpy. haha. I told Mackenzie that I am going to do the same thing with KFC with other fast food places, go there once a year. Now, I will try to stagger it, but the places I tend to go to are: KFC, Taco Bell, and McDonalds. But this includes all fast food. I can only enjoy it rarely. I am trying to cut back my pizza intake. Perhaps once every few months on that. I've been really good so far. I'm mostly a snacker anyway.

So, I'm loving my Irish Breakfast Tea in the morning. I have Jasmine Green Tea at work after lunch. I take mine without anything added. I want to try other teas, so I might ask for some varieties for birthday/Christmas.

Nerds Unite!

Yesterday, I had my chorus practice. During break, I talked with a girl around my age and she was saying how she loves reading, is a nerd. I said I was a nerd too. Good to know your people! It was a fun practice. I was getting into it and I know the music pretty well.

Today, it's raining like crazy! Very windy too. I'm glad though. I hope it rains a lot this Winter!

Not much happening in the news recently. Kinda slow after that crazy summer we had with all those celebrity deaths and interesting Youtube videos. I don't want anything bad to happen, I just want something interesting to read about, like in livescience or something. Maybe a big discovery like that one about early humans and why they started to walk on two legs. That blew my mind and the whole world seemed to make sense.

I've been starting to make a wish list for the holidays. I need to do this to not buy so much now...just need to wait a few months.

Apples and Crowds

This weekend was good, but I had too much of the crowds.

Friday: went to the library book sale. I was good and restrained myself. Got five or six books and Mack got two. Went to the new Davis Target! So, the layout of the store is different from Woodland and Vacaville. You enter on the right side and the clothes are the first things, but on the right. Then electronics and books. Then the grocery part. I was very excited about the low prices and pumpkin. However, I was disappointed about the fact that there was no produce. I only saw bananas. Lame! No deli either, though they do have a Pizza Hut and Star Bucks. Ate and watched tv and went to bed.

Saturday: Started the Colin Firth version of Pride and Prejudice. Very good! He has good food eyes. Went to Apple Hill. I could not believe how freakin' crowded it was! We took the shuttle and what would have been no more than a ten minute ride to the destination we wanted, was an hour long due to all traffic! It was crazy! I was super hungry when we got there, and waited about 20 min for not that great of food. Had apple beer and apple milkshake. Also waited in line for more than 30 min. for two donuts. They were good, but people were buying them by the dozen, so that is why it took so long. Bought apple butter and have yet to try that. Glad to get home, finished my Pride and Prejudice and went to bed.

Sunday: Woke up early to go to tea in Benicia for my book club. It was fun, though only four of us people the flu and cold season apparently started already. I tried Jasmine Green Tea and loved it. I was hungry still and needed real food, so went to Mickey D's to tide me over. That was funny. Had to class it up with McDonalds... Went to the Fairfield mall, got my black pants and black shirt for the concert. Got a free t-shirt at Old Navy. Went to Barnes and Noble and bought the cookie murder book and an Alfred Hitchcock book of tales of terror. So far, not very terrifying, more like suspensful and mystery like. There was another volume at the store that was the mystery one, so I might have to get that as well, since I am loving these short stories. Went to Trader Joe's and bought Irish Breakfast tea and Jasmine Green tea and sweet potato chips which I can't wait to try. Went to target for a few random things and was tired, so went home. Watched Sling Blade, love french fried pertaters!

Drank three cups of tea, and very awake, but yet somehow tired still...

Southpark Funny

Yesterday, I watched The Secret Life of Bees, the new Southpark episode, and Frozen River. Secret Life was really good. The Southpark episode makes fun of all the celebrity deaths over this summer. Haha, it was pretty good. Frozen River was very good and Mackenzie told me I was closing my eyes for a little bit, but I wasn't sleepy and really wanted to see what happens in the movie. I was really sore and tired and still am today.

I will be hitting up the library book sale and going to the new Target! Yay!!! It was supposed to open on the 11th, but they are open now for the last few days. Mackenzie made fun of me saying I'd be like Stan's dad in Southpark and give any excuse to go to Target, like "oh darn, we broke a glass. Guess I have to go to Target." I still love that episode. I quote it all the time.

Sore and Tired

Yesterday, worked out, made dinner, and watched Coraline. Good movie. Basically went to bed after that. Seems like I have no time still. I would like another hour at least, but if I go to bed that late, I'll be really tired. I'm already tired right now as it is.

The Daviswiki says that the Target is already open. It's ok, I'll just wait until later to check it out. Doubt I'll be going there much, unless I'm coming from Sac, due to it's being really far away and not next to any other shops, except for the library.

Reading Frenzy

Yesterday, I read for hours Pride & Prejudice. It is really good! I worked out too. Can feel the soreness already. Fitting in my skinnier Levis'. Not eating fast food and avoiding cheese is working well for me.

Today, another reading frenzy in hopes of finishing the book and moving onto the next one I need to read asap.

So, this morning, I'm putting on jeans. My Levis that fit if I am on the skinny side. I pull them up and I have room to put them over my fat (damn stomache). So, I'm going to double check the tag on the back, because if I can fit these this easily, then I'm skinny :) I'm shocked because I feel that I've always been eating, I'm always hungry. Maybe all that coloring works up an appetite. ;) And The Firm tapes really help too...

Yesterday, tired. Went to chorus. Tired. Enjoyed singing after a while, but was...tired. Went to the bookstore during work. Got Bliss, can't wait to read it.

Coloring Frenzy

Friday: went to the Dollar Store right after work. Found some awesome Halloween decorations. Found a Halloween cd. Bought a Halloween coloring book (yes, I'm a kid). Was a good day at the Dollar Store. Went to Safeway and made an awesome breaded chicken and potato dinner. Colored and watched tv.

Saturday: went to the Beer and Wine Festival in Yuba City. The drive is kinda long and only one lane for most of the time. Out in the middle of nowhere. Mackenzie was very tired. Got there kinda early. Walked around the main street, which was not long at all. Only a few shops interesting enough to look in. Started to drink right at 1pm. I had three beers and felt drunk. There was this one building with nothing in it, so with all the people inside, it felt like a party. You could hear the place get louder and louder. We went to lunch at this soda diner, with awesome shiny, yellow booths and chairs. Cheeseburger was ok, but if I weren't so drunk/hungry, I would have been dissappointed. Stayed a few hours. Back home, tired, and I colored a lot while watching tv.

Sunday: Slept in, watched tv, worked out to National Lampoon's European Vacation...old! Went to the bank/Nugget. Made pumpkin bread. Made steak with awesome cheese sause. Walked, colored more, watched tv. Was tired.

Today when I got to work, peoples were putting up Halloween decorations, so I joined in. We have blinking skeletons near me now :) Mackenzie and I are going to Yuba City to taste different beers Saturday. :) If we have energy, going to Apple Hill. If not, I think I will be going to Target, decorating, and making dinner and another round of pumpkin bread.

Yesterday, I was really tired. Lee came over to my work to give us our rafting pictures. Had a party at work and was really tired after that. Got home, didn't want to do anything, so watched I love you man. It was good.

Airport is kinda like Walmart

Yesterday, went to the new library. It is huge! Has a warehouse feel. Worked out to the Firm, old school with the sculpting stick. Watched some tv. Made nachos without cheese and with lettuce, tomatoes, and onions with hot sauce. It was pretty good! This is how I will get my veggies...that and lettuce wraps. Picked up Mack at the airport. I had to turn around twice due to crappy construction to get to the parking. Saw some people who look like they do when they go to Walmart. It was entertaining. Saw pj's, cheesy t-shirts (Cats musical one), a lot of pregnant women, army fatigue, and some interesting hair styles. At least I had something fun to look at while waiting. Got back late, I was getting scary. Mack is happy to be home.

I received my first Avon purchase yesterday! I got foot stuff, makeup thingy, and a salad/soup container thing. I'm trying out the salad one today. Like the stuff I've tried so far.

Can't believe it is already October! But I am happy with this Fall weather. Tired.

Yesterday, went to Bath and Body Works and bought pumpkin and Autumn smelling candles. Safeway had no pumpkin but Save Mart had only 2, so I bought those. Someone told me that Libby's is having a pumpkin shortage, so hopefully there will be a lot more cans soon. Davis is crazy around 5pm. I will try to avoid it. Smelled good with the candle burning and pumpkin bread cooking. Watched Vampire Diaries. Don't know where all the time went yesterday. Boo. Nice and cold today...feeling like Fall.

Feeling Like Fall

Today, the high will be 73 degrees! Now it is starting to feel like Fall. It will be more so since I plan on making pumpkin bread. I have evaporated milk and don't really want to waste it. Also have a ton of eggs still and walnuts. Might bring it to work tomorrow.

Yesterday, got home, pigged out, and went to chorus. Had a few new people. On of the Alto 2s took off during break. She didn't talk to anyone, so I think she just dropped us. I think our "gay-ness" and changing God to Love on our songs may have offended her? Not sure, but she looked pretty "straight laced", the term Joe told me I looked like when I first met him. I am more than meets the eyes, as many will discover. But she perhaps thought that since we practice in a church that we are religiously affiliated? No, we just practice at a church. Not to say that none of us are religious, just that our goal is to help women's issues mostly. It was sad she just took off without explaining anything. Whooosss! She couldn't handle how awesome we are!

I just can't wait to take it easy after work and have the smell of pumpkin in the apt.

Weekend was crazy and good.

Friday: went to East Sac to set up for the yard sale. Dropped off my stuff. Someone cut her leg open and was totally bleeding everywhere when she walked past a sharp sprinkler on the side of the house. Called the ambulence. Crazy. Kinda died out after that. I hung up signs in the neiborhood with another really tired person.

Saturday: slept in. Went to the yard sale. Started to pack up stuff. Turns out we made over $1200!!! That is crazy! Sold most of the food and most of my stuff was gone. Yay! Took the rest to Goodwill. The lady there was like, don't have another yard sale any time soon because we still had a massive amount of junk. Went to Ink and the food was really good! Had fun with the gang. Went home. Worked out. Ate the rest of my sandwich. Watched The Blob. It was pretty good.

Sunday: Slept forever. Read, watched tv. Sectionals were canceled. So, went on a walk around the area, saw the edge of the world (fields) and found a small park. Our neighborhood is nautical themed street names. It was hot! Watched more tv...Pretty lazy day.

Been hungry all day for some reason. Took Mack to the airport before work. I want food.

Yesterday, I took a vacation day due to the pending strike about faculty not wanting furlough days on non-teaching days. I learned today that there was a rally at noon. Mack told me it wasn't a big deal, but he went to campus around 3 yesterday.

I got up early yesterday. Boo. But I watched a lot of pilot episodes. I want to see the second episode of all I watched. Caught up with Grey's Anatomy. What a cliffhanger! Gotta watch a lot of new shows today after the garage sale drop off thing. Baked pumpkin bread and pumpkin muffins. Tasted good! Had the oven on for two straight hours and it was hot, so yay...that was so fun...

It's Friday! I kept thinking yesterday was Saturday. I had to keep telling myself today is Friday because it feels like Monday. We are ordering pizza at work...yay! I'm already hungry.

Yesterday, I was tired, but actually worked out. Was good...did my Wave thingy and crunches. Watched Grey's Anatomy to catch up. Still have 5 episodes to go...I'm giving it another chance. I don't know how time flies after work. I also saw some Star Trek. But I felt like I didn't do much. So sad!

Going to be baking tomorrow and finding more stuff for the garage sale. I know I can get some office supplies and a few more pieces of clothing out. Maybe a few more books too and videos too...It's amazing how much crap I have just lying around. I really don't need all of it.

I might try to decorate the apt this weekend...It's fun to celebrate holidays. Still no plans on Halloween itself...but going to the Fremont Pirates thing and also the Dixon Corn Maze. I want to carve pumpkins as well.

I could have slept another hour at least. Boo! I'm looking up recipes for when I am baking on Thursday.

Yesterday, we had a meeting before chorus practice early, so I got there late. Oh well. I live in Davis, and I waited out the traffic. I was tired, so I started to slump over and Joe made a comment about how some people were slumping. I was one of those people. I feel pretty comfortable with a lot of music now.

Wednesdays will be free for me, since my tutor cannot make it. Farmer's Market time!!!

My ear has been good for the past few days, now it is acting up again. Grrr! Gotta drug myself up again. It really sucks! I thought lowering my caffeine intake would help! Also been drinking more water. Guess it just is allergies. They are bad in summer. Can't wait for Fall!!!

Friday: Relaxed for a bit. Went to supervisor's bbq. Good stuff. I felt the one beer I had since I was really hungry. Went to bed.

Saturday: Actually slept in til 9! wow! Read a lot, went to chorus sectional at Head Hunters. Turns out there was an Imperial Ball that night, so Head Hunters was actually open. I met the gallery owner next door. Told me I was skinny and to eat. (Gay man who had food catered for the event. He was running for Grand Duke). I love how I get compliments! Hung out with the ladies for a while. Went home and read a lot more. Worked out. Got tired. Mack was all into getting rid of crickets. Smelled like Raid the rest of the day.

Sunday: Got up way too early. 7! I was watching Buffy and eating and I guess crunched too loudly on my nuts since it woke Mack up. Those damn old people... haha. Started pricing with a friend. That was fun! Scary cricket outside-black this time! Raid to the rescue! Went to chorus sectional-this time it really happened. Did good, got a CD. Got hugs :) Watched Star Trek. Couldn't sleep. Started to read. Forgot it was really late. Went to bed.

Today, talked about the walk out on Thursday. I am taking vacation hours that day. And I am going to bake all day!!! That works out for me! Need to prepare recipes and ingredients. Maybe Mack wants to help? ;)

Oh, another cricket thing which freaks me out the most. I saw one in the kitchen sink!!! Nooo!!! That is way too close to food! I turned on the water and used the garbage disposal to grind that sucker to death! I hate bugs!

Now in normal talk. Went to Black Bear diner in bay area for Nikki's bday. Had fun, laughed about the ritual my dad did when we were growing up of changing the clocks during day lights savings and end of day light savings. BAaaa-dooooo dooo dooo it is 6:07 5 sec. pacific standard time....wooooosh (sound of wind). Great times. Also made fun of how dad would say "God damn it". lol. Mack was clueless. You had to be there! Can't wait for good food at work and at the bbq tonight!

I am just thinking about how it is going to be really scary biking next week when everyone is back in school. I'm really scared biking near the dorms. Those freshmen don't know the biking rules (I honestly didn't know them when I was a Freshmen). I wonder if I should do hardcore biking, meaning bike during Winter. I'd have to buy special gear for that.

Yesterday, went to Safeway (gotta have my pudding). Worked out to an old school Firm with the sculpting stick. Good workout! One of my favs now. Watched Step Brothers. Horrible lol. Entertaining at least.

I will go ahead and admit this since I am not afraid of what people think of me: I worked out to Richard Simmon's 80's Blast dvd. He is hilarious, so it keeps me going. Where did the weekend go?

Friday: went to see 9. I liked it. Pretty much went to bed early.

Saturday: Woke up early and went to a wedding of Mack's friend in Livermore. Learned that the bride is Bosnian and had a live Bosnian band. They didn't toss the bouquet or garter. Things just kinda happened without us really knowing what was going on. Went home and did laundry, worked out, and went to bed early.

Sunday: Got up way too early, but it was good since I wrote down book club stuff. Book club was fun. A couple of the ladies said I have a "mom vibe" to me and said I would make a good mom. Wow, that was good to hear. I told Mack this and said I must be a MILF. Went to Target and got a ton of stuff but not that much money with my 10% :) Got a new pillow that I am very happy with. I slept so well and the pillow really makes a difference. My old one was lumpy and too soft. I think it was down. Not getting that anymore. I might be swearing to the Target pillow. Went home, finally did the towels and got those out of the bathroom. Worked out, went to bed. Watched some Buffy and Angel too.

Now at work. We are going to the DC tomorrow and I get to try the 10,000 dollar chicken!

So, I know I keep saying this, but the one thing I love most about moving to a one bedroom is the fact that I realized that I have enough stuff as it is and don't even have enough room for anything else. So, I will be not shopping unless there is something I don't have that I need. I am saving money in general, but also for a new, pimped out phone when my contract is up in March. And, hopefully by then, I will have paid off a fat chunk of my credit card. Talking to a friend about the iphone...

Yesterday, finally got a haircut. I made fun of Mack since he got the talkative lady. He hates it when he has to talk. Then, got a migraine so watched Buffy and just hung out in bed. I am trying to just drink one soda to be healthier and cut back cost of soda. It adds up! I will buy drugs at Target on Sunday...

Today, going to see the movie 9! Then, wedding on Saturday. I'll be so tired!!!

Yesterday was busy. Right after work, I got stuff together to tutor and drove to West Sac. She could only stay until 6:15, but I was fine with that. Did a little spelling practice. Then, right after I got home, I did a workout and love the space I still have in the room. Then, went to Safeway to get food. Read a few pages of this romance novel that has a sexy cover and the first sentence is about sex and the next two pages are about sex too. That is what I like to see...hehe. Mack wanted to read the dirty part. He called me dirty.

Ooooh a co-worker gave me season 4 Buffy and season 1 Angel. Yay!

Moving Hell

Everyone knows that moving is hard work. It was exhausting this time around...mostly because I couldn't control myself in buying more stuff. Now I realize that not much else can fit into this new apt, so I'll be very careful in spending. Also, good to save money!

Where I left off...Friday. After work, went to the ARC. Haven't been there in years! Just as good as I remember...just more tv screens and a few more machines. I basically went to bed early.

Saturday: I went to the new apt, got the keys (which turned out to be retarded later) and me and Mack got 3 or 4 car trips of stuff of all the stuff that fits into our cars. Went to Lamppost again, and that guy was working. I was very happy to get all that stuff out. We even got our bed! We planned out where to put the big stuff.

Sunday: Big moving day. I felt really tired and starting to get sick. Barely made it through...we did four van trips and got every thing out of there! Went to Redrum Burger and then passed out. I wanted to do more work, but my body was not having it.

Monday: Stayed in bed all day, bored and sick. Got nothing done.

Tuesday: Still sick most the day. Later in the afternoon felt better, took care of the storage place, got that all settled...there were two guys there, not the evil old people, so I was very happy! Went to Home Depot to get a good key copy, Ikea where we bought a coffee table, and evil Walmart that turned out very good since I got the other furniture that we needed. Put bathroom together and lamp and put all my clothes away. Good day of work and I was feeling a lot better. Yay!

Today: tutor session that I hope is still going on. Maybe try to put away more things...or relax.

Yesterday was a good day. After work, I went to Lamppost and had the garden salad which was not only good, but on the happy hour menu. I saw my old boss! I forgot he lives in my new 'hood. We chatted for a little bit. Then, I went to the Internet cafe and read until around 6:30 so that it was cooler. I decided to do the bike loop. I almost made it without using my bike light. I felt good after that. I need to get rid of some fat!!! Been indulging too much and working out too little. Got to apt. and watched Sex and the City.

I'm going to the Arc after work. Been so long!!! Don't know what to do about dinner...maybe pick up something on the way back.

Yesterday was a very good day for a few things...

I left work early to go to the dentist. I am still doing good. :)

I went to Modern Nails in the West Lake plaza right across from my new apt and I chatted with the lady. Turns out that IGA a grocery store will be in there by November!!! I am so happy! She did a good job on my nails, so happy about that too. I went to Chuy's and got a burrito, wolfed it down since I was hungry. I checked out the video/cafe in the plaza and lo and behold, they have about 6 Dell computers with Internet for $2 for 2 hours!!! I was so happy! Plus, they have free wireless when I get a cute mini laptop...right? hehe I'm so tempted...

I wanted to check out that cafe by my co-workers, but they closed at 6! That is way early! The cafe new my new place is open until 10! Plus, the laundry place is open until 12...I wonder if they have Internet...I doubt it though. But still, if I wanted to do laundry late, that is awesome. They have Curves over there, but I think I'll belong to the country club. I'm so excited about that!

Just all around excited that it is that much closer to getting moving done. I can't wait to be done with the horrible rental people. Ughh!

I feel a little be skinnier today, so that is good. I am going to bike all over Davis as my workout and then maybe hit up that video/cafe again or just chill on campus.

Homeless Day 1

Yesterday, I left two hours early from work so that I had enough time to clean and clear out the apt. I biked to my co-worker's to drop off my bike. I had to walk past McDonald's and needed food, so I got food. I felt horrible and I was hoping food would help and caffeine. I took 4 ibuprofen and two allergy pills and more caffeine and staying in the dark as much as possible and all this made me feel ok, but not super great, so I'm thinking it was a migraine headache as well as caffeine withdrawal since I had none until McDonald's.

I took another car load of stuff to storage, cleaned the bathroom and vacuumed and cleaned the floors. I took the cleaning stuff to storage and it was filled to the very edge with stuff. Gonna be soooo fun taking that out! I'm guessing with out the big stuff that there are 10 two car trips waiting for us. That is more than twice as many trips as last moving time. The horror! This move has made me realize I don't need to shop anymore. I just need to lose about 10 pounds to fit every piece of clothing I have. Good motivation! Also, the clothes I can fit I have enough of, so I think I won't shop unless it is something I don't have and need, like something nice for a special occasion. So, I can save money and space but also instead of spending that time shopping, I can spend it working out or cooking a light meal. So, moving=horrible and stressful, but also moving=eye opener and change for the good.

After officially becoming homeless (dropping off the keys), I went to my co-worker's apt, relaxed a bit. It has been good so far. Just gotta get through this weekend and then I'll have a home again.

Last Day at Drake Apts.

Yesterday, tried to clean and pack, but mostly Mack did that. I was really tired. I fell asleep really early.

Today is the last day at Drake Apts. I will have to take the last of the stuff to storage and get everything out and clean the rest of the floors. Still need to change my address on some things...though I have some time with that since we are doing the forwarding thing. I will be staying at a friends house for four nights. yay for being a bum!!!

Friday: Did laundry and cleaned my car. Picked up sandwiches and packed our lunches. I felt like a mom. Went to bed early.

Saturday: Got up early and got ready for rafting! Went to Noah's Bagels in my rafting gear, which is basically a swim suit and work out clothes over. I felt like a soccer mom again since I also got Mack food. Went to Lee's to meet up and he drove us all over to the river. Lee was scoping out the man meat, which were younger than all of us. Took some pictures of the camp area. Rafting was good. I fell in during not even a big rapid. Mack gave me shit. Mack and I did this trust game, but Mack fell in haha! I was not ready for him leaning back so soon. Water was cold! But it felt good since it was in the upper 90's. I got sunburned :( There was one rapid called Bouncing Rocks that Lee and I ended up in the "hot seat" meaning the seats that were the ones that people tend to bounce out of during this rapid. I bounced for sure and I dove inside the raft so not to fly out. Got in some water fights. Oh, the best part was there were these two men with water guns shooting at us and they had a cooler and a pirate flag! Real pirates!!! The rafting trip actually felt like the Pirates of the Caribbean ride. Lee bought a cd with our pictures that people took during our crazy rapids. Some were really good. We went to Gringo's to get some drinks. Got home around 7, ordered pizza, and packed some, but I was dead, so I lied down.

Sunday: Moving day! My parents came over with a crew member, my co-worker, and we moved our big items in their van. It took 4 or 5 trips to the storage to get all the big stuff out. We went to In and Out and it was oh so choice. Good day of moving. We also did two car loads twice after they all left. Then watched Killer Klowns from Outer Space and the first episode of Weeds. Good day and I can't believe I am still functioning.

This is exciting. Mackenzie and I have decided to do a UK trip after he graduates, which will most likely be next summer sometime. I will be saving all my vacation hours for that and during Winter, look closely into what to do there. But, I already have the main places I want to see: Dublin, London, Stonehenge, Scotland. I want to spend several days in the big cities. I've been to these places except for Stonehenge, but there is so much there, that you need plenty of time for each city. Dublin is great even if you've seen everything just for the fact that their people are really nice and you make friends drinking at the pubs. I'm excited for this! I really don't have that much money, but you gotta do these things before you get tied down by obligations. Do it while your young too. Any place with Mack will be the best place, so having him hang out with me will make it the best trip! The only sucky thing about the UK is that we will be using the pound for most of the trip. The pound is very expensive!!! Well, if Mack has a job set up, then he can pay back whatever he has spent. The thing about London, is that you can enjoy the town just by enjoying the architecture and awesome accents lol. I won't be doing the souvenir thing anymore since I have enough from my other trips. It will be fun!

I was really mad when I got home, so I swore a lot, and that reminded me of what Christian Bale did. However, I did my rant all alone. I was mad the whole day. Mack took me to Circle K to get a big gulp and we picked up Chinese. I managed to clean and pack some things. I feel much better today.

Today, I'm adding to my fat since Mack's dad will be coming up and we will be getting some good food. I'm hoping to pack today or maybe do laundry. Tomorrow I need to have laundry and car cleaned. So much to do...I'll be happy in our new place next Saturday! I will refuse to move until it is more permanent. So sick of moving! I want to be settled somewhere for good.

Yesterday, I took Mackenzie out for awesome food at Cattlemen's. I've been waiting all weekend for this dinner. Had blue cheese garlic bread and ribeye. Mack got roasted tri-tip. We got there at 5 and we were the second ones there. Total cost: $77. Ouch! But, Mack has gotten me thousands of dollars of awesome food these 6 years we've known each other, so I think this is a drop in the bucket. But, he does spoil me. I'm hoping to cook more and stay in to save money and to try the awesome recipes in my new cookbooks. So, ya, I felt like a sugar mama. It was funny, Mack said, don't worry, I put out. It's like role reversal! Got home, watched Star Trek and Buffy the Vampire Movie, which was horrible. But at least it had Pee-Wee and Milton!

Ted Kennedy died today of brain cancer. I thought all those celebrity deaths were over with!

Today, I plan on boxing up more things, and cleaning. Need to make lists of what places I need to change my address with. I'll have to do major laundry Friday night. Can't wait for this moving business to be over with!

I read about how Wednesdays are when the highest rate of suicide occurs. The article explained that it is when people start to get frustrated with commuting and irritated by co-workers, ect and it seems that there is no end to the work week. At first, I thought it was going to be Monday. Now I know why all these people commit suicide on Wednesday. Wednesday has been sucking for me. I always wake up tired, drained, and emotionally vulnerable on Wednesday. Today, I woke up hating the world and wanted to give the world the middle finger. No good reason, but I just woke up that way. I have had a few ups and downs in emotions today and it's starting to get annoying. No, it is not that time of the month. I don't really get that, thanks to the pill. And, I'm pretty chill anyway. But, there is no chill on Wednesdays!

I feel very fat. I've been busy these past two weeks, not working out that much, and eating "well" so I am a bit of a chubby right now.

I had an awesome weekend.

Friday: went to see Julie & Julia with the book club. Turns out that Mack was home from the conference, so we didn't do anything that day for his birthday. He was fine chilling at home. Good movie. Went to Outback to hang out and talk. Got back home late.

Saturday: went to the literacy conference in Sacramento for the whole day 8-4:3o. It was good. What made it all worth while was that I won a gift bag of things to make cupcakes...all the necessities. Then, went to the roller derby, sac city rollers v. tough cookies (LA). We lost :( I finally learned how they play, but I still don't know all the rules. There were some interesting people there. I got awesome hot pink 80's fishnet gloves! The Band-uh! was there!!! They rocked. It was funny, they called the small beer tap area a beer garden. Ha! Oh, there was a hot dog eating contest during half time and there was a dancing hot dog man. I also bought a t-shirt. It was some good times. Oh, so me and Mack were trying to find out what to call roller derby. It's not ghetto, it's not hick. Then our friend said "rockibilly" and it all fell together. Yes, roller derby has a very retro feel with rockibilly feel and some punk and 70's mixed in there. They wore some awesome socks that made me jealous. Some spectator was wearing converse with a retro pin up girl on it. It was cool. There was also a guy dressed like Bret Michaels. It makes sense since the event was called Rock of Shove (like his Rock of Love show). I was really tired after and went straight to bed.

Sunday: Slept in a whole 15 minutes!!! I just happened to get up then...I started to pack. Mack and I did four car loads of stuff to put into storage. Happy to get all that done, but there still is quite a bit left to pack up. I need to stop buying stuff!!! Didn't make it to my chorus meeting, but all good. I fell asleep for a while. Had awesome pizza. Finished first season True Blood. Kinda bored after doing the moving part. I guess I'm not used to just haning out and relaxing at home...

Yesterday, I was really tired. Happy to get home. I read, packed some clothes, and watched Netflix stuff. I was a blob pretty much.

Today, I'm going to see Julie & Julia with book club people. Maybe me and Mack can do something later. If not, well, I'm very busy this weekend, so maybe during the week we can do something. I kinda want Cattlemen's. Mmmmmm... I went there on my birthday, but that was a while ago.

I will be alone again this afternoon at work. People need to not take vacation/sick leave all at once on me! How dare they! ;) Jk. It's just kinda boring back here. But, I was tired, so maybe being by myself is ok then...Or maybe I am tired because there is no one here to wake me up. Who knows.

I just can't wait until Fall. Things will be a lot better then and I actually can't wait until the weather gets cooler. I know! Crazy! But then again, I can bust out my Snuggie! I do miss wearing tennis shoes too. But, I'll be wearing sandles as long as I can! I need to enjoy the last months of summer, like do a bbq. Still haven't gotten to use the spa...that might be something I do at the new place since it is much nicer. Also, sometimes there are ghetto people who are not in our apt. using the pool/spa.

I have the case of the Fridays, so I'll need to get through the rest of the day and then have fun!

No One is Here

I'm at work, and I'm the only one of the four of us in my dept. besides our head dude. So, that means it is really quiet in my work station and I will be falling asleep.

I myself do not feel that great. Yesterday I didn't either. I came knowing we have a building meeting and a party, so I have something to look forward to. I am curious what is going to happen to our building and eager to eat! I just need to get by the hours. I also called in sick last week, so I'm hoping to at least last this week without incident, meaning sickness. Last week I had a sore throat because of allergies. That was the second time that happened. Even the strong drugs didn't make me feel that great.

I'll need to drink a lot of water and try to avoid soda since my stomach has been acting up and I've been having leg spasms. I had one last night. Ouch! Just have to breathe it out.

Yesterday, I finally got to tutor. She lost my phone number, so she couldn't call to tell me to meet up an hour later than planned. I was feeling lousy, but just was there to help her. We caught up and decided to pick it back up the second week of September, after I'm done moving.

Afterwards, I picked up In and Out and it was oh so awesome. We talked about it at work, so I was really happy to get it. Went home, Mack called just before I started eating, so I told him I'd call back. No one gets in my way of In and Out! Went to bed early since I was so tired.

So, here I am, all alone in the back and still feeling tired and lousy. I hope I will feel better soon!

I'm feeling a bit blah just now. I can't wait to tutor...I just hope she can make it this week. It has been over a month since I've seen her.

Yesterday, my book project meeting went well. I stated my opinions on the ones I read and we have 7 now to look over for the next meeting. This has been fun so far.

I went home yesterday for my Sister's 32nd bday. Good food. Good times. I might have my bro help me move. That is crazy! I mean, it's because I never do things with him since he was all crazy before. He's getting better every year...I hope.

Going to do a lot of reading and cleaning out clothes today. I have to buy new bras eventually, so I'm going to get rid of a lot.

Can't wait until Fall. I'll be done moving, it will be cooler, I will have more clothes to wear, I can wear my Snuggie more. Yay!

Dog!

Yesterday, I got a phone call from Mack. He said that our friend Lee needs a pet sitter for his puppy Chihuahua. He is so cute! Tiny and follows you everywhere. We will have Rusten until this afternoon. Lee tried to put him on the train, but that is not allowed, so that is why this was all last minute stuff. Now Mack knows what it's like to have a dog, since Mack is one: follows me, hovers when I eat, and just looks cute.

I was able to make it to chorus practice. There were some new faces since there is a memorial for Shirley, whom I've never met. I chatted with Beth and Kristina before we all went inside and they learned about my Reno trip. It didn't help that everyone that went past us said, "are you doing ok?" and "good to see you upright". But, I was happy I didn't get crap for that. Everyone was gracious. I love this group of women! We sang some songs I've never tried before, so I'll need to practice them a lot more...

Today, my sister is 32. Yikes, getting up there...but still young! I'm going home for a bbq :) Food is always good!

Today, at lunch, I have another Campus Community Book Project meeting. I'm excited! It is so much fun! I can't wait to read more of the books.
