Been awhile since I last posted.
Last Friday, I took the day off to get Momo neutered. He did great. I took him home that afternoon and he was the same old, crazy Momo. I had the cone of shame on him for a minute then realized he probably didn't need it. He was such a good kitty! I rested that day.
Saturday was busy and crazy. Mack and I cleaned and got food in preparation for the Tupperware Party I was hosting. Some people couldn't make it due to many issues. But, still had a good amount of people. Glad that was over!
Sunday, went to the bay area for Nikki's bday party. That was a long trip and we won't be doing that much at least. Next is holidays to visit. Nikki loved the farting card I gave him. Good times. Got home and worked out because of all the fat I had these past few days.
Yesterday, went to singing and had fun and glad I am still doing that even though my friends aren't there now. But, hoping to at least have new people to talk to. Everyone is nice.
Today, had to go to Taps for a new permit, and never fun. I needed a drink at 8 am. That is sad, however, glad to get a new permit and not deal with that for awhile. The commute here was awesome! I enjoy my morning drive while drinking coffee, but today was even better! The car in front of me had a person dancing and waving her arm to music. It was very entertaining and refreshing to see while driving. I was sad when she exited.
Today, there is the Gubernatorial debate at the Mondavi Center, so I had to park a bit further. I just hope I don't run in to traffic when I leave, but I should be safe since I leave early. I don't have plans today after work, so I'll be enjoying my time relaxing and keeping inside since it is HOT! Fall better come SOON!

I miss my car
My car is at the shop right now, the battery or starter is not working. It better not be too much. I'm stealing Mack's car and dropping him off at work super early. He was scary this morning, grumpy.
Last weekend, relaxed, cleaned a little, and not much else. That was much needed. My Tupperware party is this Sat and I can't wait for it to be over. It's a short week for me since I'll be taking Momo to the vet on Friday to get neutered. I hope that calms him down a little. He is super crazy!

Hoarders
I've been watching Hoarders and these are the worst cases, but still reminds me of home a bit. Glad I'm not like that. One lady was a cat hoarder and they kept finding more cat skeletons, and a lot of kitten ones :( so sad.
Went to chorus after a break, good times but depressing songs. Next week we were promised more uplifting songs. yay! Tonight meeting for the chorus, scary how I'm looking forward to driving to home after work and also driving to the meeting. I love the morning commute still. I read in the morning in the basement before work and I enjoy that time as well.

I Walk the Line
This weekend was fun.
Friday: was super hungry when I got home, so we tried Smash Burger and it was one of the best burgers I've ever had. Worked out later because that burger made me feel fat.
Saturday: got up at 5:30, that was sleeping in for Sat. I did three loads of laundry, played with kitteh, and cleaned all before Mack even stirred. I got him up at 11 because I was bored and wanted to go to Costco with him to get our membership cards. We got the pillows that Mack's parents had back home and I loved them so we got them. We need to get the bed topper next time. Always a triple digit trip when you go to Costco. Had awesome steak for dinner and did three more loads of laundry. Finally done with laundry for a while.
Sunday: my parents came over, saw kitteh, gave them a tour of the apt. and our backyard. They loved it. Went to get burgers. Yummy. Drove them to see the high school and Intel. Went to the Folsom Prison Museum. The lady there was nice and we had a good time. Dad broke his mug he bought but the lady gave him a free replacement. Folsom. She took pics of us, told us to walk the line for the best shot, just a road line. Awesome. People signed the guest book and a lot were from the UK and Australia. I was impressed. It was time to head back home for my parents. But we had a good visit. I was still bored, so I went to Hobby Town with Mack to buy Nikki a present for his birthday. Got him a model car, a whoopee cushion and a voice changer megaphone, which I think will help him with talking. Went next door to buy him and my sister a card. Got Nikki a farting card. I'm sure he'll have a lot of fun with that one. Gave my sister a funny card. Had another round of steak and zucchini my parents brought up. Good times.
Now back to work, boo.
I bet I got Walk the Line and Folsom Prison Blues songs stuck in your head, ha!

Finally Organized!
Haven't written in a long time due to my craziness for organizing the new apt. Finally finished this past three day weekend by Monday afternoon.
Mack's mom came over Sat and Sun night, she cooked us awesome food, went shopping with us at Target and Walmart. Mack bought another bookshelf for the living room, another shoe rack, and cover for the couch, the final things that needed to be purchased and got all the boxes out of the apt. I love it when people visit, so we had a good time. Our cat got a lot of attention, got to see grandma :). Momo will see his other grandparents this weekend when my parents visit for the day on Sunday. I'm sure they will love our new apt.
Getting excited about my Tupperware Party.
It is really nice not having boxes to walk over and I'm trying to keep everything in its place. So far, I've been keeping it up.
Went on a short bike ride around our area, still need to explore a lot more.

Winos
Mackenzie and I made awesome chicken dinner and had my so far favorite wine. I forget the name, but it's a Chardonnay. We decided to class it up and become wine snobs basically. We will try to make dinner more often since Mack will have the same kind of schedule as me soon.
I still like the morning commute since it hardly slows down and I like blasting the music and drinking coffee. Afternoons are not as fun since I have no ac and slows down at certain areas. Oh well, the price I pay for living in Folsom :)
Momo was mean to Mack and scratched him up and was just a little rascal. He had to stay in a room in the apt with Mack while the people put on our awesome new cabinets. They look nice. I'm thinking Momo was just scared of the people and also bored and felt trapped. Hopefully he won't continue to try to slice up Mack. Of course, when I got home, Momo was a perfect angel, asleep. I would have never known he was scary unless Mack told me, or rather showed me the scratches.

Observation
Basically when Mackenzie and I first moved to Folsom, we both made an observation about Folsom that is so far true. People in Folsom are nice. I went to Starbucks, the lady was nice. I went to Target and Raley's, nice. But here is the kicker: Mackenzie went to Jack in the Box and fast food people are not the nicest, they just do the bare minimum for niceness. I laughed when Mackenzie said that the people were nice, nicer than they had to be. lol. I went to Walmart and figured all Walmarts are the same, as in, just nice enough. No, had a great experience there. I was alone and trying to look through the heavy furniture and a lady and a young man came up and helped me put it in my cart. Then, at check out, the lady was nice and I had two guys help me put the bookshelf in the car and one gave me a high five when we got it in. Wow, Walmart is that nice??? I love Folsom! Everywhere I have been so far, the people are super nice and friendly and everyone seems happy, even the bussers. It's not a creepy, Stepford Wives way. I love the atmosphere.
I am loving the morning commute since it's quick and I love spacing out and listening to music. It will be the first time I'll commute with my new time, getting off an hour early, so I will see how that goes. Should be fine.
Got a lot done yesterday, finally went to the grocery store. Guess what? Nice people.
