Fat

Yesterday, I had a lot of food. Went to Matt's birthday party. Ate steak, potato salad, and cake. Nicola loved my farting card and we had to take it away from him. It felt like a Friday yesterday.

Longest day at work EVER!

Here is something funny:

Hungry

For some reason, even though I ate breakfast, I'm still pretty hungry. At least today there is the bbq, with awesome hamburgers including buffalo burgers! Crazy! I hope I try some of that.

I brought in my old Geothermal Conference freebies. I forgot about the cool pen that has a blue light. I'm keeping that one.

Yesterday, the lady I tutor had to have her two daughters with her for the tutoring session. We couldn't meet up. It has been a month. I emailed the head Yolo Reads person, so I hope we can work out what is best for her. It took a long time to understand what she was saying on the phone.

I was really tired yesterday. Read a lot.

Went to a law school bbq. There is a quest to find the perfect burger. Three burgers were competing in a taste competition: Jalapeno, Buffalo, Turkey. I tried Jalapeno and Buffalo. Buffalo tasted pretty similar to beef. But, Jalapeno won my vote since it was really juicy and tasty. Can't wait to see who wins. I also had "the best cupcakes ever". They were good, and they had better have been since she said that.

Been going on a tangent about M.Knight Shyamalon movies with a coworker, which has been fun.

This was just so hilarious. One coworker has a voice I can't hear that well, so he made a paper cup megaphone, with string around his ears. I got a shot with my camera phone. Just another Office episode waiting to happen.

Earthy/watery

The apt. people turned on the sprinklers (again) and this time they were at full blast, so I got pretty covered in water. Also, my shoes got muddy. I took a European bath when I got to work.

Coworker just gave me this link. Pretty funny.

Brokeback Island (Lost)

Yesterday, I had my t-shirt class. Made two really nice shirts! I was all happy.

So we were deciding the sex of the coworkers baby that will be due in Winter sometime. I say boy. We also choose weight, height, length, and due date. That will be hard. Winner gets a prize.

I went to Taco Bell to get a drink, and I saw Mackenzie at the Carl's Jr. line. That was funny.

I really want to make a home page where I can navigate my favorite websites easily. I don't think I like delicious very much. We'll see about that.

Send me a link

So, my coworker has found some awesome videos of Thriller and weddings. You know that is a winning combination. I'll put them on here as soon as she sends me the links.

Yesterday, biked home and felt horrible since my skin was already burned. Went to the library to pick up books to see what to pick for the campus community book project. I'm excited to help out on that. Then got my nails done. I got the kinda crazy lady how kept looking around while doing my nails. She is good but kinda freaks me out.

Made awesome pasta and watched X-Files and read a lot. Good day. Wish I could read more...

Camping Weekend

Wednesday: After work, packed for camping. Went to bed before Mack's friends came over. They came over at 2 am. That is crazy.

Thursday: Got ready to go camping. Got awesome McDonald's breakfast. Stared at Mack's slow friend eating slow as heck. We saw the friend's truck at the Safeways up towards the camp and met there. Then we checked out the campsites. One was full. We got a site that was good though, private, on the beach, and a walk in. We set up camp and I had two beers and felt it too much. Had to lie down for a little bit.

Friday: We spent the day at the beach. We took the hard way to get to the beach, floated and walked through the lake. Had Doritos...mmm. Floated on my pink floaty thing.

Saturday: Went to the better beach. Got crispy there. Seemed hotter that day. Some crazy adventure camp people invaded the beach with kayaks. They were drinking beer and had a boom box. The English people said they were not going to race and drink instead. Figures. It was funny. They all had crazy costumes and paint. It was weird, but entertaining to watch them.

Sunday: Felt good to leave. Took a shower. Then went to Denny's in Woodland, as it is tradition to do after camping. Then went to Walmart to buy my t-shirts for my class. I could not resist the low prices of DVDs and we got a few of them. I had to get out of there. I felt like Stan's dad, the evil Walmart was sucking me in. Cleaned and put away stuff. Worked out to Lord of the Rings. Rested, watched tv. Good day.

Today, at work. Kinda quiet since most the librarians are at a librarian thingy. Oh, yay, I have an awesome sandwich for lunch!

Orange

I came to work and a co-worker was also wearing orange.

The t-shirt class was good. Got a little messy, but printing test papers and it came out good.

I need to pack for camping...

It doesn't seem like we are going to do much hiking, just mostly lazing around, so I'll need to brings some books. A game boy would be great for this or a portable dvd player. I wonder how much those are...

Ok, I saw this article about the dangers of talking on a phone while driving, and don't even get me started because this is kinda like "no duh!" where you use your common sense. I know I'm distracted just by talking to someone in the same car. Add cell phone to that, and it just gets worse. Also, Mythbusters already proved that talking on the cell phone and driving is just as dangerous as drunk driving.

Don't phone and drive

And if that doesn't scare you, just a happy reminder:

Too Tired To Care

It is another glorious day here at work, where there is still construction going on and loud noises. A higher up person came in while it was perfectly quiet to tell us how sorry he was about the situation. Not gonna go there...

I'm feeling blah. Whatever.

Ok, feeling better. Here is a funny fail video:

Whale Songs

I got to work today and was kinda confused since it sounded like someone was playing loud music. Kinda like a whale or oceanic sound. They failed big time since the construction people broke a water pipe. Now, they are drilling into newly paved asphalt. Great job guys! Ultimate fail! Oh, and the sounds outside are really loud, that one co-worker had to leave. Another one we warned not to come in. Also, we can't use the bathrooms here, so we have to trek to Mrak Hall. Fun times!

Ok, had to add this email I sent Mackenzie:

The construction people broke a water pipe and our bathrooms and lower level are a little flooded, so we have to use Mrak Hall for bathrooms. That is not the best part. Now, they are using huge digging and drilling machines to find where they f-ed up to fix the mess. Did I mention they are digging up newly paved cement? Haha ya, it was just done a few weeks ago! Classic fail!
Weekend:

Friday: Went to an engineering bbq. Had a ton of food. People played ultimate frisbee while I sat and watched and took pics. We watched something I think when we got home.

Saturday: I went to Walnut Creek for the day to visit Eiko, go shopping, and visit Lyn. Eiko is leaving for Japan for a year, so I had to see her. Got a few tops, but most of the stuff I tried maked me look like I was expecting. Pretty good day. Watched Valkerie.

Sunday: I was freaking out about singing the National Antham. We got a storage unit and finally went to Safeway. We had to wait around a lot to sing. It was cool though since we got all access passes, we saw the kid dancers practice. Mack was all about that. I bribed Mack for being our purse watcher by giving him food. Poor Mack had to deal with all the women. It was fun. We sat in the Heckling Section. Every time our team was fouled or something sucky happened, even if the ref was right for calling something, this woman would yell "Are you kidding me?" I swear, like every single time. It was pretty funny to listen. There was another lady on the other side of our section doing some of that too, but that one lady was really loud. She would say to the ref " are you deaf, blind, and stupid? or all of the above?". I don't know how, but we tend to get the crazy sections in sporting events. Too bad the team lost. It was a close one though.

Harry Plopper

Wednesday after work, I took my car into Goodyear to check out the tires. Turned out I had to come back the next day. I overheard some Asian lady tell the worker "isn't it scary that there are drivers like me?" because she had hit a curb. I got a burrito and watched tv I think.

Thursday I had an Excel class instead of work. The instructor was really good. Learned a lot. Saw a friend at the MU. Got new tires. Worked on my t-shirt design and saw Harry Potter. It was really funny, but not too great.

What's with the bees?

Yesterday after work, me Mack and co-workers went to 3rd & U. I was so hungry, so I was very happy with my cheeseburger and Blue Moon. We saw Obama throw the first pitch at the All-Star baseball game.

I went to my craft center class-T-shirt printing. Man, it was hard putting the screen on. I had a lot of issues with it and the instructor had to help me in the end. My arm kinda hurt too using the tool thingy. I think I know what to do for my design. I'll wait and see though...oh, on the way home, I was biking and almost home when this bug (or so I thought) flew into my eye and it hurt so badly. I rushed into the apt, blurted out "I have a bug in my eye" to Mackenzie and tried to get it out. Mack had to put eye drops in my eye to get it out. Mackenzie said I was scary, but I told him I had to be like in an ER and yell out the situation lol. It turned out to be a leaf. Ouch, no wonder it hurt, it was scratching my eye. We watched most of the old version of Time Machine. It was good so far.

Today, I went on a walk around the arboretum and some guy asked me if I know anything about bees. I said I try to avoid bees. Kinda weird, but he seemed fascinated by the bees he was looking at. Then, someone asked me how to get to the Mondavi Center. They really need to put up more maps around campus.

Cops on patrol: I saw a cop give a biker a ticket. I better put my foot down.

I barely made it to work today. I felt really nauseous. I ate and then I felt much better.

90's music madness

After work, I had fat, so I felt fat. I didn't feel like working out since I've been doing that a lot, but I still wanted to move around. That is when I came up with my genius idea of doing DDR. It has been a long time. It seems so archaic. Then I watched House Bunny. It was entertaining. Then I busted out youtube and started listening to 90's music...Foo Fighters, Green Day, Smashing Pumpkins, DMB, Goo Goo Dolls, Third Eye Blind, Smash Mouth...I even busted out my DMB VHS of their videos. Dang, so weird to see it now. I couldn't sleep, so I went back on Facebook and talked to Eiko for a bit. Then, I finally fell asleep around 1:30. I'm thinking my upstairs neighbor hates me, I kept hearing them walk around a lot. Maybe pleading: "make it stop!"

Now, back at work. Not as tired as I was on Monday, which is weird. I thought I would be falling over at my desk. My body is more tired than my brain.

Startled Awake, but not really

So, I have been at work for an hour and a co-worker happens to startle me on accident. I just almost ran into him in the backroom. I told him I was awakened but not really. It's Monday...

Weekend:

Friday: Even though we received crappy news about furloughs, I managed to have a happy Friday after work. Mackenzie and I were supposed to bike together home. But, I didn't see him, so I left. Mack came home minutes after me. I got shit for not waiting for him, but I wasn't sure if he was going to make it. We got Little Caesar's pizza! So damn good! Also good is that you just go there and the order is ready for you. Sweet! I taught Mackenzie Backgammon. We also played chess and checkers. Then we finished Brazil. Kinda weird, but a good movie to watch, especially since it has Jonathan Pryce who also plays the Governor in Pirates. Just makes him that much more awesome. Robert De Niro is awesome and looked good in Taxi Driver. :)

Saturday: Went to see My Sister's Keeper. I told myself I wasn't going to cry. I didn't, but I could hear women sobbing like crazy all around me. Went to Olive Garden after and had the best sangria ever! Even better than in Spain. Talked about how the movie had a totally different ending than the book. Oh, the dad is a dilf. Watched Kung Fu Hustle. It was pretty funny. Love the cigarette lady.

Sunday: Went to see Bruno. Freaking funny and disgusting. I love his laugh. hahhah I finally talked to Monica on the phone. Yay, she reads this blog. I feel special. She talked about the Ab Flyer and I totally want to get one! I want to go shooting with her as well ;) Maybe next time!

I read your blog Mackenzie. Bah, you will have to read my long blogs and like it! lol I think I'm pretty entertaining. I was never popular, but I like the social networking stuff. I do appreciate phone calls from time to time. I took like four quizzes on Facebook.

Time to drink heavily

I'm in my excited mood. I want to play backgammon with Mackenzie.

Note change of mood:

Ok, now I'm annoyed. We just got an email saying about the recommendation for furlough/pay cuts. We were all discussing it and the boss lady told us some info. Not wishing to write about it right now.

I was telling a co-worker that it's kinda like the Office Space thing where they were laying off people and they said they do it on Friday since it was best for everyone. I'm thinking they sent the email today for that same reason, but the rest of the day is kinda shot since I don't feel like working that much anymore, but then again, it's Friday. Just don't take away my red stapler!

Oh, this is kinda funny. I put "Drink Heavily" on my Google Calendar for today. Let's celebrate misery together.

Chemical Smell

I pretty much just got to work, and it smells like chemicals. Gross.

Yesterday, my tutor had to cancel, so I did much needed laundry and worked out to the last Felicity episodes. This just means that I will watch more One Tree Hill and pick another 90's teen series to follow. I'm actually already watching Buffy a co-worker is lending me, so I'm set for a long time. But, there is always room for more. Muahahhaha.

We were talking about "what is your season" stuff for clothes. I found out I'm a Spring and we look good in salmon, which is true. I need to find more clothes in that color.

I got to see a dog today at work. Cute.

I'm really excited about going to the Silo today for lunch and meeting Mackenzie there. I guess I have outside fever. It looks so nice out. Also going to check out OA after work to find out about river rafting trips.

Another one bites the dust

I didn't have a good title for today's blog, but there is sad news today. Oscar G. Mayer, founder of the awesome Oscar Mayer foods, died at age 95. So many celebrities/note-worthy people have been dying recently. This guy was awesome...come on. Who doesn't love bologna and those delicious hot dogs that are always cheap at stores??? Crazy people that's who.

Yesterday, I relaxed for a bit. Then decided it has been way too long since I did Turbo Jam. It's a good ab workout as well. More relaxing and read part of Pet Semetary.

They found the lost city of Atlantis!

Just kidding but it's funny someone thought that.

This was funny. Mackenzie and I went to Costco over the weekend and bought chicken wings. Mackenzie ate all of them by yesterday. There were all these plates around the living room and kitchen with chicken bones. I told him it looked like a scary movie with like a monster who ate people and just left the bones around. We cleaned to get rid of that image. Think of The Descent in which the monsters eat people and just have the floor covered with bones. Yummy. Oh, and Mackenzie looks like this when he has chicken: The Descent

Michael Service

Today, there was a service for Michael Jackson. Some office people watched it (secretly) while working, but I didn't.

Not too much else exciting going down. I'm very hungry and totally craving subway. Hmmmm....will I give in? I just might.

Feeling Funny

I didn't go to work today. I almost fainted while take a shower this morning. I was on the ground for well over 10 min and barely was able to call in sick and go to the bathroom and get back into bed. This has happened to me once before and I don't know what it is but it must be linked to me being exhausted.

Weekend:

Thursday: After work, Mackenzie and I went to Burgers and Brew and then walked around downtown and Borders. I was tempted to buy Mack books but I will wait until his birthday. I also checked out the board games. Nothing too exciting.

Friday: Went to dump electronics at Woodland, went to Costco and Target. Got Jenga, Monopoly, and a classic board game set. Went to poker night for a girls night and we also ended up playing Rock Band. I kicked butt at drums.

Saturday: 4th celebration. Played games all day. Lots of fun. Had chicken wings and good dips and bread and beer. Saw fireworks and finally saw Lee, though he still is not feeling too well. Good day.

Sunday: Slept in. Told Mack I was bored, so he suggested Frys and I was game. On the way there, we saw a ton of traffic, mostly from Tahoe because of the long holiday weekend. At Frys, I got a board games/card game computer game and a brain game. I like the board games one but the brain one sucks, so I'm going to try to take it back. I've been learning how to play backgammon. Also checked out Best Buy, but nothing I had to get. Since the traffic was horrible, we took I-5 to Woodland to go back that way. The other way was probably over an hour's worth of traffic. I worked out and did weights finally, and this may have caused me to be so tired today.

Celebrity Reaper Strikes

Yesterday, I tutored and we got her more practice with email.

I told my mom I tutor and in a chorus. And I need their help moving.

Today, I found a most disturbing video.

Unknown Life form in Sewer

Also, sadly that crazy hair lady, Mrs. Slocome, from Are you being served? died at age 86.

Mollie Sugden

So, some news people reported that Jeff Goldblum is dead.

Another celebrity has died today (for real).

Harve Presnell

Jeff Goldblum

So, we counted at work that is 7 celebrities in recent times:

Ed McMahon

Ferrah Fawcett

Michael Jackson

Billy Mays

Karl Malden

Mollie Sugden

Harve Presnell

This can't keep going...

And because of this, I have retitled my blog.

New hair/nails

I love my new haircut! And, I got my nails done short and I love them. First Lady Nails are awesome! Ya, that is what I did yesterday. Also helped make pizza which turned out that Mack used the pancake flour so it was sweeter but still good. We watched The Green Slime which is a 1969 Japanese film with Americans acting Sci-fi and horribly good. Yes, so horrible it was good. I recommend it. Then I cooked beef for our potluck today. Very Mexican theme going on since it all started with my tons of tortillas I need to get rid of.

Nice, there is some banging going on due to construction. At least it is not the gnomes that were going on when I first started working.

So Karl Malden died. At work, we were asking so who is next? Just because there have been a lot of celebrity deaths recently. Sad but true.

I stumbled upon this scariness:

Eyes Popping Out
