So tired

I'm alive, but very tired. Trying to fight exhaustion to just be able to clean weeknights, the kitchen gets gross quickly.

I got a new haircut, short bob. It's cute. I have some bangs, but not full on bangs. Just enough to start to get used to the idea. When I put up my hair, an inch can fit into the tie, way at the bottom of the head, so it's very short. I looked at a magazine before hand to get ideas.

In the process of changing my name. Just need ID card, then I can change everything else. Got social going already. It's a big process, just thinking about everything you have to change, even email for me. Not exciting. Not until it's done.

Listening to audio books in the car now. Sick of my music and I am getting better at listening to the books. I used to space out and it got hard knowing what was going on in the book. But now I can do that better. Also have tv shows to play in the car while parked waiting for things. I get to work early all the time, so I just watch tv for a while and then go to work. It's nice to feel like you aren't wasting any time. I would be doing the same things at home, so makes the commute a lot better.

What else is new...still waiting for the wedding pictures to be ready. Got our honeymoon pics.

Looking forward to the holidays where we will visit people and go shopping. Been ages for me for that, but that's good, saving money...wedding money is scary...too much.

Back to chorus

I got a warm welcome back to chorus last night! Love the energy these women bring!

I had to stay until 5pm for work to make up hours. It was way too long!

I'm a zombie today.

Mari's evil food is still around but love it! Have to make sure I get a fair share of it when Mac gets to it. The Japanese pops are almost gone, mostly because of me. They are so good.

I'm starving but I need to save my lunch for lunch time and that is two hours away. soooo hungry.

Thinking about what to do after work, but probably eat the potatoes, chicken for dinner then pass out. Pretty typical for a week night.

Weekend with the Mother-in-Law!

Friday at work, I got a text from Mari if she could come over. I love having her! Means awesome food, but not good for my diet.

Mac made pasta and we drank wine. Hung out with Mari a bit before I went to bed (always early since I get up so early).

Woke up at a horrifyingly early time (6am). Made myself coffee and watched tv before peoples woke up. I got bored though waiting for people to get up. Mac and I decided to go hiking in the Auburn State recreational Area. We had no idea the parking was extremely limited (only 3 cars could park at the trail head we went to). The parking was full the first time we looked, so we tried for another trail head, but that lead us down a scary, unpaved dirt road, like from out of a horror film. We checked back and lucked out with a parking spot. The hike was nicely shaded for 90 percent of the time. We went down a steep trail at the last part and going back up was very difficult. We were so tired after that part, but were glad the rest of the part was mostly flat. We hiked around 6 miles.

We got back, starving and tired. Had awesome food that Mari made with all the fixings. So happy about that. Went to bed early as usual.

I got up early, had my coffee, but was even more bored this morning and wanted Mac up, so I bugged him a lot. Mari took off, leaving Mac and I to ponder what to do the rest of the day. I wanted to go outside, but do nothing too physical. We picked up Evil Dead the Musical tickets at the Sutter Street Theater for this coming Friday. We also picked up a hiking guide to the surrounding area since the info we got from a website was horrible. Went home, passed out for a bit. Did laundry, cleaned. Had awesome left overs. Worked out since I ate a lot. It was a good day but very tired and boring.

Today, not excited about staying at work an extra hour to make up time. But, excited to go back to chorus tonight! It's been since late March the last time I went. I bet I will sound horrible. People will be happy for me to be back! Mondays will be hard since I stay in Davis or Sac til 6:30 then chorus til 8:45. Basically, get home and go straight to bed. I do shopping at Target or just hang out and read to pass the time and get subway :) cheap dinner.

This weekend will be another nice one, so hopefully go hiking in the area with our new guidebook. :)

I survived!

I survived my wedding! I actually had a great time! But glad it's over! Can't wait for the photos.

I will post Honeymoon stuff when we get the pics all nice.

Today, looking forward to just going home and enjoying free time that I finally have. Still have to do the whole name change thing, but better than wedding planning! Going to go back to normal life, like chorus and activities around Folsom.

I love driving my Subaru in the morning to work. Afternoons, not so much due to traffic.

Been watching a lot of Clean House so getting ready to clean and organize all the new stuff we have from the wedding.

Momo has been sleeping in the same room as us and he has his cat bed. It's so cute, he gets up with me then goes back to hang out with Mac until he gets up to go to work. He has gotten back to the grind like us.

I can't take time off until the holidays, so I made sure to stock up on drugs, etc. so that I can be at work as long as possible.

Co-workers threw me a party when I got back, just married party. It was very nice! Halloween is here at work, with the decorations.

I'm not posting until after the honeymoon. Will be having pics to share...

Sanity...

...I don't have any left. Wedding stuff is taking over, but glad I have help.

Basically, I wake up around one or two in the morning every night, can't sleep until a half hour before I have to get up. I don't know why, this is a consistent pattern for me since I started commuting, since moving to Folsom. I am drinking a lot less caffeine, and only in the early morning. I get exercise on a consistent basis. It's stress for sure. Watching horror movies and thrillers don't help. I told Mackenzie it's his job to make me chill.

I can't wait for the wedding, to be over mostly. It's just stressful. Hawaii will be awesome! I plan to chill a lot there, every other day is a chill on the beach day.

After the honeymoon, I can't wait to get back to doing things, like chorus (my peoples miss me, I miss me too) and look into doing the meetups in Folsom to meet people in my area for once. Didn't get a chance to do that. Until then, I'll plan on being crazy.

Next Month is the wedding!

Ahhh! It's coming so soon! I still have things to take care of. Aug will be crazy, getting the list and seating arrangements. Making sure the details are taken care of.

Best part is the honeymoon to come...

Tired.

I'm always so very tired. Today is worse than yesterday. It's kinda sad.

New Era of the Scott family

I told Mackenzie that the name Scott will no longer be associated with how much we love food, to say it nicely. I'm going to put the model of skinny Scotts' family, though we will love food just as much! Moderation is good. Mackenzie laughed at me, bah. Well, it's a challenge for me, to live a little more healthy. As they say in the meme world, "Challenge Accepted".

Two months to go

It's about at the two month mark until the wedding. Things need to get done soon! I'll be happy when everything comes together! It's been a lot of work and I can't wait until Sept. 25th when I can relax!

I didn't get much sleep...trying to do stuff after work is hard.

Wedding Invitations are out!

My friend just sent out the wedding invitations! Things are getting done, but time keeps flying by! Y u no slow down, time?

I just wanted to announce that, because now I'm too hungry to write. Lunch time!

Coffee Fail

Ok, it's been a long time since I've updated. I'm too tired to go through the daily things right now, but I know after Steve came to visit Mac and I Thursday night that people had a ton of questions about the wedding. To answer simply, invites will be mailed out beginning of July. The website will be up and running by that time, with more details about the wedding. You will know our color scheme at that time just looking at the invites and website. I've been asked a lot how wedding stuff is going, and I guess I'm a little different than most brides in that I will not go on and on about it, I'm mostly tired everyday from work and the heat, but the wedding planning is coming along nicely.

This morning, I put in the usual amount of coffee grinds. However, I discovered too late that I added two extra cups of water. It was disgusting. I had my caffeine fix at work, but it was so sad. I like drinking my coffee on my commute. I get sick of music way too quickly now that I commute. I need to "go deeper" INCEPTION! and find some music I like. It only takes 25-30 min from folsom to davis freeways, but it adds 10 minutes to our apt. it's not so bad...

Sleepy time.

Busy Weekend

I had Friday off, for the Librarian Interview at El Dorado Hills. It was good. I should hear back soon whether or not I got the job. That night, saw Super 8. It was really good, especially the train wreck scene. The movies reminded me of The Goonies and Close Encounters.

Sat: parents came up. Went to In and Out. Went to the Vineyard. We didn't do much, but the driving was tiring, so my parents took off pretty much right afterward. Mac and I explored some of the Folsom Parks. We found one secluded one we liked. Mac was so cute because he ran up a grassy knoll. He was like a puppy. Mac passed out the rest of the day and I chilled and watched more Ancient Aliens.

Sunday: worked out, had our engagement session. I finally picked out my outfits, but we had to rush to Kohl's to buy Mac a plan dark blue button down shirt. It was hot out. We took pics in front of this awesome 50's pink car, totally my kind of car, and we took quite a bit on Sutter Street. There were some good spots. I accidentally flashed my butt, since my dress got caught on my purse. Some lady yelled about my purse and I knew what she was talking about. I was a little embarrassed. I wonder who else caught a glimpse. We changed into more casual clothes and went on the Rainbow bridge and near the lake for more pics. I think we got some good ones. We were really thirsty after, so we went to Hacienda where I got a margarita and awesome fajita burrito. Ya, I'm spoiled. Then, we watched tv and kinda passed out. I took a bath.

Today: sleepy time? Ya, not really right now.

Kicking it in gear

The wedding is coming up so quickly and June is the month of getting a lot done.

My friends at work are going to help me print out my invitations at work (shhhh). We only need to pay for the postage, which I'm going to buy today (cute wedding ones from zazzle.com).

Got a group discount for Best Western going, and will get a contract to sign for that.

Went to Men's Warehouse with Mac and chose the tuxes for people to get fitted into and pick up.

Going to take our engagement pics this Sunday (good since it will be good weather).

Saturday, showing my parents the wedding venue, and hoping that Mac and I can decide on which wines to purchase for the wedding.

Next Sat, going to have our flowers appointment.

Going to make a final list for my maid of honor for the bridal shower. Going to have it at my friend's house (probably).

Going to buy my shoes and accessories from David's Bridal so I can make sure things fit.

Having my friends from work make cookies for the favors. yay, I love them (same ones who are doing the invites).

Going to set up rehearsal dinner when I get a chance.

Mac bought a scanner, so I will work on scanning pictures for wedding website (getting set up more and more) and also maybe for other projects.

Going to look into our wedding vows (we need to give this to Carol, the sooner the better).

Also very important, going to look into getting the marriage license (the whole reason behind this!) and how this thing works...

Going to go hiking on days not taken up already. Good exercise. Also wish to have some sort of summer, so hoping to do very summer like things, like bbq, swimming, baseball games.

Plus, on top of all this, I'm interviewing for a librarian job this Friday! Hoping for the best, but not expecting anything. If they are smart, they will hire me.

You can see I'm just a bit busy. Just a little...

Being Weird

I like Mackenzie since I can be weird with him. Yesterday, I told him that he's stuck with me forever, then did my scary, evil laugh.

I realized that what is really important with finding someone or friends is that they understand your craziness and oddities and can be weird with each other. That is the most important thing in any relationship. Being real and silly. Anything less, I am disappoint.

LA Vacation

Mac and I took a long weekend to go down to LA, mainly for my friend's wedding, but also for a nice little vacation.

I took Thurs. May 26th off to pack and clean the apt. It's always nice to have a clean apt. when you get back. I did enjoy that when I got back. Mac had Lee take care of Momo for the time we were gone.

Friday, left to Sac International Airport. Had BK for breakfast, and I was impressed with their breakfast. I thought it was even better than Mickey D's! Flying down was quick. Took a Hertz shuttle to pick up our car rental. We got a white Toyota Carolla with a nice GPS which we didn't pay for, but so glad it was there since our GPS was still thinking. Not sure if it ever worked down there. Mac had to drive the car the whole time, which was fine with me. At hotel, we rested and napped and then went to Medieval Times in Buena Park. Mac had not gone there, so it was a must see. It was fun booing the other knights. We had the best cheering section. Oh, for lunch, went to a brewery, but was the worst beer ever, worst burgers, and worst service. Boo. San Pedro is the place to go for thrift shopping.

Saturday: spent the day at Knott's Berry Farm. It was a nice day, but also sunny and burnt my scalp. Went on three rides, but they were good. Saw a few shows. Got some good souvenirs. Went to pizza that night which was decent, but not the best...

Sunday: Went to Venice Beach on an extremely windy day. Went all down the rows of shops. Got ice cream. Must have been 20 or so marijuana "doctors" who looked shady as Hell. Went to the Brea Tar pits, but saw a museum, and decided to go there first. We briefly went to the tar pits to say we saw it. Not too impressive, but a good side trip with the museum. I loved the art and artifacts at the museum. They had a Tim Burton exhibit, but it was sold out and I was sad. If I had known about it, I might have pushed for us to go to the museum a lot earlier. We got home late, so went to Mickey D's for dinner. Pigged out.

Monday: took a walk to the San Pedro beach, went back to relax. I was so tired, since we have done so much. Went to the wedding. Perfect weather for the outdoor ceremony. Saw a friend from college, saw other friends too. We left early since it was late getting started.

Tuesday: got up early and went home. Came back to rain. Kinda sucky on that part. I rested the rest of the day.

Wed: last day of vacation. Rested, cleaned, awesome day at home. Glad to see Momo. Mac will post some pics of the trip.

Because I'm Crazy

So, It's been awhile since last posting. I'll start with the weekend.

Friday: I was very happy to hear that Mari was coming up Friday. I bought red wine (the one I call the keyboard cat one because it has a picture of a cat and a keyboard) and popped it open for a much needed drink after work. Mari Mac and I went to Old Europe, and loved it from the very beginning. When you step in, you hear old time European music and the decor was awesome. Old pics and old kitchen gadgets. The food was good, I got the Jaeger Schnitzel and potatoes. Exactly what I was craving. We hit up Snook's Chocolates (the crack house for chocolate) and got a milkshake.

Saturday: Mac and I had an apt. with the caterer. Had awesome food and got leftovers. Was happy they are taking care of the dinnerware, bartender, and linens. Phew, I thought I had to do that stuff. I love these people. Mac went to a friends birthday party and I went shopping with Mari in Roseville. I got a text reminding me about dinner and I freaked out because I was late. Woops. Got what I needed to get done and went to Sac for an awesome dinner for a friend's bacholorette party. Went to the Mix afterward to drink and dance. Got home at 3 and Mari was still up.

Sunday: The cat dragged in Mac and he went to bed. I went to my book club meetup, movie and lunch. Was good, saw Something Borrowed. The book is always better. Had a good time talking. Got back and Mac was up. Poor Mac said he woke up and everyone was gone. Mari had left after I did. Enjoyed some leftovers.

Monday: work, then made myself workout because I am so fat.

Tues: same as above.

Today: Need to get some random things for LA trip and pack.

The title to this post is due to this: at my lunch with book club people, we talked about how diet soda is really bad for you. After that, I just decided to stop drinking it at work, since I drink a lot. I did this non-caffeine thing cold turkey. I am on day 3. Not horrible. Thought it would be way worse. Just earaches. And tired. But I am glad to do this.

Ok, My turn to post

Yes, saw Thor with Mackenzie. It was actually pretty good. Before that, we went to Felipe's and it was really good, except the chips and salsa was not up to my standards. Not salty enough and a weird texture of the chips. Salsa was kinda bland to me. The tacos were excellent. The best tacos I've had at a Mexican restaurant (not including fast food tacos because those are the best).

I'm loving Wendy. She warms my butt (since it's been cold recently) and I love the rubber mats since I don't feel bad about putting wet shoes and stuff on the floor.

This weekend is apt. with caterer. woo!

I'm really hungry. And it's sleepy time.

Momo was extra cute this morning, lying on his back, stomach exposed and a cute expression. He's actually acting more like an adult cat, not as crazy, which is nice.

Cinco de Cuatro

Yesterday was "Cinco de Cuatro" since our lovely friend in law school accidentally said that instead of Cuatro de Mayo. So, the name stuck. We celebrated Cinco de Mayo early with the law school peeps. We went to Plainfield station and had one dollar tacos. I bought us leis and mini sombreros for a goofy picture. Good times. Everyone checked my new car. It was awesome.

Geico

Mackenzie and I chose Geico for our car insurance. I have to say, I love the commercials. This is my favorite. I gotta say I hated it at first, but then I saw it while I was tired and I couldn't stop laughing.

Little Piggy

Nice and warm here. I love driving my new car :) I hooked up my ipod nano and got new music. I listened to the other music I had too much. It always makes the drive easier.

I have to go get my mom a present after work. I try to limit how many things I do after work like errands to one or two places since I'm so tired at that time. Even on weekends 4-5 is my nap time.

Wendy, our new addition to the family

Mac and I bought a new car and we named her Wendy. She is a red Subaru Impreza Outback Sport 5 door car of awesome. We went to the Roseville Automall on Saturday and I got to test drive the car. We knew what we were looking for and it was a pretty easy decision. I am very happy. It's also a four wheel drive so that we can take her up to Tahoe without worries. She has 170 horse power or whatever you call it. I need to take pics of Wendy, but here is a link to what she looks like: Car

The picture does no justice of her. I think the red color is really nice with the silver accent color. The inside has a Tom Tom navigation system and heated front seats! Lots of room too. I am very happy.

That was the big thing this weekend and I was glad to have Sunday to clean and relax and look at the owner's manual with Mac to figure out the controls and everything.

Sandwiches

Went to the pub Friday, had too many "sandwiches", so hung over Saturday. Not a pretty sight.

Mari came over late Saturday and made us awesome burritos. We relaxed and hung out.

Sunday, Mari made us pigs in a blanket and it was awesome. Went to my parents for Easter. I hid eggs and felt very adult. Had dinner and dessert.

I got 2 hours of sleep last night. I'm doing good so far...and glad to know that there is food waiting to be heated up at home.

5 hour energy

Today, tried the 5 hour energy. Took an hour's worth of energy (guesstimated) and it did last one hour! It worked in minutes! It works great and it tastes like Kool-Aid. I might be buying some of these...

Yesterday, was very tired, and watched Married...with Children. Wow, I remember some of it. But Jefferson wasn't in the first episodes.

Hopefully I will not pass out at 8:30 again tonight.

Funny thing at work: a piece of mail had the name of a person "Short Cracker". That made my day.

Wednesday, April 20, 2011

Active

I was very active yesterday, gave Mac a massage, went on a walk, did dance wii game.

Today, a coworker gave me a 5 hour energy to try. I've been wanting to try it.

Not much else to say, except it's cold and rainy.

Mackenzie, nooooo

That was funny, I just read Mac's post. ya, you beat me but to really have a picture of my bike, you need me smiling on it, because that bike is awesome.

Yesterday, craved potato salad and steak so I made the salad and meat master Mackenzie made the steak, and added bacon which was genius. The salad had to chill so I had it later that night. Pretty good. Did a country line dancing work out which was fun.

Momo has his buddy Franchesca over for the week and I'm very happy he has a playmate. That boy can really play. It's fun watching them play. Franchesca is taking over Momo's territory, including the humans, just like girls do, they the boss!

Today, maybe look more at cars online. I'll be happy with anything really.

I'm hungry, waiting for the special lunch I get to go to.

Monday, April 18, 2011

At your request

I have not blogged in a long time, mostly due to wedding planning and other stress.

So, my car is pretty much dead. I would never drive that car on the freeway. It needs a new radiator so if it overheats, it's screwed. Mac is driving it to work and I'm taking Mac's car. Hopefully, we can get a new car. RIP Louie! (my 1991 Buick Century).

Speaking of RIP, poor Leo has to be put down today. He is an ancient dog, so it was just a matter of time. Still sad. He had a good life. I remember the time I sat on the couch and right when Mac left, Leo pinned me down and started licking my face. I couldn't get up. Crazy boy!

Back to the car thing, since I need to share cars with Mac and also due to just too much for gas, I have decided to take a leave of absence from chorus. There is an upcoming concert, but since I've missed so much rehearsal and since I will miss more, I will have to just not be in the chorus for at least until after my wedding. It's just too much waiting around and gas money. I need to call them, hopefully they understand.

Wow, lots of stuff that is happening. Going to a friend's wedding in LA memorial day weekend. It is a pricey vacation for sure. If I knew about the car thing, I might have just gone down for the wedding and miss a day of work. Bad timing I think, but it will be fun.

My own wedding: we have a venue, dress, dj, cake, florist, photographer, hair stylist, and potential caterer. Still need other things. So much to do, I'm too overwhelmed.

ON TOP OF THE WEDDING PLANNING: I am looking for a new job. Already may have an interview. It is for a library position in Placerville. I am sick of driving and the gas prices are making me sick. Plus, my poor car dying is just putting a ton of stress on me.

So, with all the stress, I have been needing a lot of happy hours. Got a new beautiful bike (I need to show pictures) so Mac and I go out when we can.

I haven't posted in a long time. Just busy, wedding stuff, tired, ect. yup that's it.

Little People/Big World Marathon

Yesterday, I did not get enough sleep, so when I came home from work, I ate and watched the whole dvd of Little People/Big World. That started at 5 and went until 8:45. Most the time I lied down on the couch. For a little bit, Momo slept next to me under my blanket...so cute!

Today, I think I'll do the same thing, but just watch movies. I'm looking forward to it. It's still so early in the day...I have to last, I have no sick leave.

Tuesday, February 15, 2011

Weekend, where did you go?

Had a good weekend.

Friday: I told Mackenzie that I wanted to see a movie, but I was too tired. I got home, ate lots of nachos and sat on the couch and went to bed.

Saturday: I read over the contract for the wedding venue and I totally freaked out. I thought there were extra charges and I cried. Mackenzie told me to not worry about the money, but I always do, so we went to lunch at Casa Ramanos (something like that), had a strawberry margarita to calm me down and a fajita burrito. I felt a lot better. We went to Placerville to sign the contract and found out that it was $4500 flat and I felt so much better. We then tried the different wines and found a few that were better than the others. Mack said we should look at Red Hawk Casino, and I called his bluff. We walked around, saw the different restaurants, and gambled a few dollars. Glad to have finally gone there. We went home, relaxed a bit, then went out to our Valentine's dinner at Viscontti's. It is always popular, so we even had to wait about 15 min. when we had a reservation. I got pesto tortellini. It was so good. I felt so gross after this.

Sunday: Had tortellini for breakfast, then lazed around with the cat on the couch. I found out that Mack's parents wanted to come over and visit and have dinner, so I cleaned. I took Mack and Justin to the airport and then went to Tahoe Joe's for dinner. It was yummy. I was really tired, so went to bed early.

I am still tired. It will be the weekend before I know it at least, and it's a three day weekend at that!

Jucy Lucy

Mackenzie and I have been watching a lot of Man v. Food and we saw one that had the Jucy Lucy. There are two places in Minneapolis that have this, and one has a sign that says Jucy Lucy, misspelling the Juicy, but they kept it there for character and I liked it. What it is is two thin beef patties with slices of cheese put in the middle then cooked, so that the cheese oozes out when you bite into it. Mackenzie made this last night and it was awesome. I'm sure the restaurant burgers are that much better. After, I felt I had to workout just to counteract that burger. It was a good day. I try to make the most of the weeknights and I have to go to bed around 9 pm in order for me to function for the whole day. Oh well, I get to do what I want during the day. I might go to Good Will after work and see what cheap clothes I can get.

Gremlin

I have broken one of my Gremlin rules too many times, and I finally got enough rest last night. When I don't get enough sleep and/or rest I am a little scary and grumpy. It feels good to get sleep.

Last weekend was fun. I stayed home on Friday because I wasn't feeling well, but after sleeping in, I felt great. Steve and Mari came over and we went to get food. Had a beer.

Saturday, I made sure Mackenzie and I dressed nice so that we could take pictures at David Girard Vineyards. We will put some pics up on our wedding website whenever Mack and I have time to work on it. Steve agreed that the place was very nice. We went to BJ's and I had two strawberry margaritas. I was thirsty and I felt the alcohol. Mari made dinner and they took off.

Super Bowl Sunday, I went to a friend's house in West Sac and had more food and beverages. I met one of her friends and she was fun. Had a good time, but was ready to leave and just rest.

Monday, I thought I had enough sleep but after work, I didn't stay at chorus. Way too tired.

Tuesday, didn't feel so great in the morning, but felt better later and accomplished a lot, worked out, cleaned, and clipped Momo's nails. Relaxed a bit, but fell asleep around 9. I need to do that more often since I feel pretty good now. It makes the day that much tolerable. Last night, Mack and I watched a Man v. Food episode which had the Jucy Lucy, two hamburger patties with cheese in the middle so when you bite it, the cheese oozes out. Looks so good, I'm thinking Mack will make some tonight :)

I'm Somebody's Number 1

I haven't posted in a while and poor Mackenzie keeps wondering when I'll post.

I don't want to write about the wedding, I'm too tired and don't want to think about, but it's going.

Mackenzie mentioned that I'm his favorite person. I mean, yeah, I knew that but when he said it, it make me feel awesome. And Momo is his number 2. He likes when I laugh, so he kept being weird and I laughed. But he went too far when he tickled me, I hit him with my book. He didn't learn and I screamed the next time he tickled me. Maybe some fodder for our vows? That plus the chocolate debate we had. He has to learn that women need their chocolate and I WON'T GIVE IT TO EVEN MY NUMBER 1!

Momo will be getting a playmate for about a week, another cat. Good. Someone else to pick on. I love kitteh's. My goal is to have a ton of cats one day. I would also buy cat sweaters for me to wear and cat art. It will be scary. Mack is already prepared.

I'm looking forward to my Little People/Big World dvd that is coming on Saturday. Doing other stuff this weekend. Something major, but I'm tired so I won't post that just yet. Always so tired. I need to sleep a lot this weekend. I did that last weekend. 12 hours on Sunday.

And for the always important question: IS IT SLEEPY TIME YET? At least there is a party at work, so that is goof off time. woo!

Happy New Year!

I had a good vacation. Much needed rest. Went to Mack's family for Christmas Eve and my parent's for Christmas. Brought Momo, poor Momo was cold. Mari made a sweater for him but it didn't fit, but tried on a dog's one she made decades ago, and it was nice, so she is making the same one for him. Got some good stuff. Played Donkey Kong Country Returns, watched a lot of tv, slept in, was lazy, kept warm with my snuggie. Mostly hung out at the apt. just relaxing and keeping warm and dry. When to a friend's in West Sac for New Year and slept over. Got awesome diner food in Folsom. Got fat over the holiday. My last day I finally did laundry and cleaned up.

Now just counting down the days until spring, or at least when it is not freezing as it is today. I am working 7:30-4 now and the traffic coming home is not bad at all. Got new music to listen to. I saw Tron over break with Mack. Loved it. Got the album and love the music.

Sleepy time!
