Wow, I'm still alive!

Friday: Did laundry and cleaned my car. Picked up sandwiches and packed our lunches. I felt like a mom. Went to bed early.

Saturday: Got up early and got ready for rafting! Went to Noah's Bagels in my rafting gear, which is basically a swim suit and work out clothes over. I felt like a soccer mom again since I also got Mack food. Went to Lee's to meet up and he drove us all over to the river. Lee was scoping out the man meat, which were younger than all of us. Took some pictures of the camp area. Rafting was good. I fell in during not even a big rapid. Mack gave me shit. Mack and I did this trust game, but Mack fell in haha! I was not ready for him leaning back so soon. Water was cold! But it felt good since it was in the upper 90's. I got sunburned :( There was one rapid called Bouncing Rocks that Lee and I ended up in the "hot seat" meaning the seats that were the ones that people tend to bounce out of during this rapid. I bounced for sure and I dove inside the raft so not to fly out. Got in some water fights. Oh, the best part was there were these two men with water guns shooting at us and they had a cooler and a pirate flag! Real pirates!!! The rafting trip actually felt like the Pirates of the Caribbean ride. Lee bought a cd with our pictures that people took during our crazy rapids. Some were really good. We went to Gringo's to get some drinks. Got home around 7, ordered pizza, and packed some, but I was dead, so I lied down.

Sunday: Moving day! My parents came over with a crew member, my co-worker, and we moved our big items in their van. It took 4 or 5 trips to the storage to get all the big stuff out. We went to In and Out and it was oh so choice. Good day of moving. We also did two car loads twice after they all left. Then watched Killer Klowns from Outer Space and the first episode of Weeds. Good day and I can't believe I am still functioning.

Librarian that rocks!

United Airlines Breaks Guitars-pt.2

I just got a second video of the guy singing about how United Airlines breaks guitars.

United Breaks Guitars Song 2

I forgot to add this at the beginning of the week. She is horrible. And she says she is up there with Britney Spears and Michael Jackson. Sick!

Heidi Performance

This is exciting. Mackenzie and I have decided to do a UK trip after he graduates, which will most likely be next summer sometime. I will be saving all my vacation hours for that and during Winter, look closely into what to do there. But, I already have the main places I want to see: Dublin, London, Stonehenge, Scotland. I want to spend several days in the big cities. I've been to these places except for Stonehenge, but there is so much there, that you need plenty of time for each city. Dublin is great even if you've seen everything just for the fact that their people are really nice and you make friends drinking at the pubs. I'm excited for this! I really don't have that much money, but you gotta do these things before you get tied down by obligations. Do it while your young too. Any place with Mack will be the best place, so having him hang out with me will make it the best trip! The only sucky thing about the UK is that we will be using the pound for most of the trip. The pound is very expensive!!! Well, if Mack has a job set up, then he can pay back whatever he has spent. The thing about London, is that you can enjoy the town just by enjoying the architecture and awesome accents lol. I won't be doing the souvenir thing anymore since I have enough from my other trips. It will be fun!

We had a lunch thingy for the Law School, and I sat next to this guy (professor...forget his name). This guy is hilarious and he met Obama.

So, the Office Space Law took effect today with this news (although I'm kinda happy they are doing it this way).

Pulled a Christian Bale-kinda

I was really mad when I got home, so I swore a lot, and that reminded me of what Christian Bale did. However, I did my rant all alone. I was mad the whole day. Mack took me to Circle K to get a big gulp and we picked up Chinese. I managed to clean and pack some things. I feel much better today.

Today, I'm adding to my fat since Mack's dad will be coming up and we will be getting some good food. I'm hoping to pack today or maybe do laundry. Tomorrow I need to have laundry and car cleaned. So much to do...I'll be happy in our new place next Saturday! I will refuse to move until it is more permanent. So sick of moving! I want to be settled somewhere for good.

This is why I love Mackenzie so much. He told me about this awesome website:

Cattlemen's

Yesterday, I took Mackenzie out for awesome food at Cattlemen's. I've been waiting all weekend for this dinner. Had blue cheese garlic bread and ribeye. Mack got roasted tri-tip. We got there at 5 and we were the second ones there. Total cost: $77. Ouch! But, Mack has gotten me thousands of dollars of awesome food these 6 years we've known each other, so I think this is a drop in the bucket. But, he does spoil me. I'm hoping to cook more and stay in to save money and to try the awesome recipes in my new cookbooks. So, ya, I felt like a sugar mama. It was funny, Mack said, don't worry, I put out. It's like role reversal! Got home, watched Star Trek and Buffy the Vampire Movie, which was horrible. But at least it had Pee-Wee and Milton!

Ted Kennedy died today of brain cancer. I thought all those celebrity deaths were over with!

Today, I plan on boxing up more things, and cleaning. Need to make lists of what places I need to change my address with. I'll have to do major laundry Friday night. Can't wait for this moving business to be over with!

Another Internet sensation!

United Breaks Guitars

I should add there is a story behind this. United broke his guitar. He went through all of the United channels about this, but got fed up and wrote this song that now has over 5 million hits! Networks are asking for him to appear on shows and Taylor is giving him some guitars! How cool is that?

I read about how Wednesdays are when the highest rate of suicide occurs. The article explained that it is when people start to get frustrated with commuting and irritated by co-workers, ect and it seems that there is no end to the work week. At first, I thought it was going to be Monday. Now I know why all these people commit suicide on Wednesday. Wednesday has been sucking for me. I always wake up tired, drained, and emotionally vulnerable on Wednesday. Today, I woke up hating the world and wanted to give the world the middle finger. No good reason, but I just woke up that way. I have had a few ups and downs in emotions today and it's starting to get annoying. No, it is not that time of the month. I don't really get that, thanks to the pill. And, I'm pretty chill anyway. But, there is no chill on Wednesdays!

This just brightened my day :) not being sarcastic

Just more things to piss me off

Today, we were talking about furloughs and how the higher up people in the university are getting raises while we are going to get pay cuts. This is not cool! Just really mad. I thought we were safe since the university apparently seems to be well off. BS!!!

Yesterday, went to chorus. Had a few new ones come and they seemed to love it! One works at UCD.

I'm less tired than I was yesterday, but that may change.

I'm taking Mack to Cattlemen's! I can't wait for awesome food! I have to make sure I am really hungry after work.

I have this song stuck in my head:

Merry Old Land of OZ

Today, we talked about Cooking with the Neelys. Here is one of them. Warning: they are a bit annoying since they are a married couple.

Fat

I feel very fat. I've been busy these past two weeks, not working out that much, and eating "well" so I am a bit of a chubby right now.

I had an awesome weekend.

Friday: went to see Julie & Julia with the book club. Turns out that Mack was home from the conference, so we didn't do anything that day for his birthday. He was fine chilling at home. Good movie. Went to Outback to hang out and talk. Got back home late.

Saturday: went to the literacy conference in Sacramento for the whole day 8-4:3o. It was good. What made it all worth while was that I won a gift bag of things to make cupcakes...all the necessities. Then, went to the roller derby, sac city rollers v. tough cookies (LA). We lost :( I finally learned how they play, but I still don't know all the rules. There were some interesting people there. I got awesome hot pink 80's fishnet gloves! The Band-uh! was there!!! They rocked. It was funny, they called the small beer tap area a beer garden. Ha! Oh, there was a hot dog eating contest during half time and there was a dancing hot dog man. I also bought a t-shirt. It was some good times. Oh, so me and Mack were trying to find out what to call roller derby. It's not ghetto, it's not hick. Then our friend said "rockibilly" and it all fell together. Yes, roller derby has a very retro feel with rockibilly feel and some punk and 70's mixed in there. They wore some awesome socks that made me jealous. Some spectator was wearing converse with a retro pin up girl on it. It was cool. There was also a guy dressed like Bret Michaels. It makes sense since the event was called Rock of Shove (like his Rock of Love show). I was really tired after and went straight to bed.

Sunday: Slept in a whole 15 minutes!!! I just happened to get up then...I started to pack. Mack and I did four car loads of stuff to put into storage. Happy to get all that done, but there still is quite a bit left to pack up. I need to stop buying stuff!!! Didn't make it to my chorus meeting, but all good. I fell asleep for a while. Had awesome pizza. Finished first season True Blood. Kinda bored after doing the moving part. I guess I'm not used to just haning out and relaxing at home...

So, here I am at work, feeling fat.

Happy Birthday Mackenzie!

Happy Birthday Mackenzie! You are 27!!! Wow! That is or is close to late-20's. Now that is scary!

Yesterday, I was really tired. Happy to get home. I read, packed some clothes, and watched Netflix stuff. I was a blob pretty much.

Today, I'm going to see Julie & Julia with book club people. Maybe me and Mack can do something later. If not, well, I'm very busy this weekend, so maybe during the week we can do something. I kinda want Cattlemen's. Mmmmmm... I went there on my birthday, but that was a while ago.

I will be alone again this afternoon at work. People need to not take vacation/sick leave all at once on me! How dare they! ;) Jk. It's just kinda boring back here. But, I was tired, so maybe being by myself is ok then...Or maybe I am tired because there is no one here to wake me up. Who knows.

I just can't wait until Fall. Things will be a lot better then and I actually can't wait until the weather gets cooler. I know! Crazy! But then again, I can bust out my Snuggie! I do miss wearing tennis shoes too. But, I'll be wearing sandles as long as I can! I need to enjoy the last months of summer, like do a bbq. Still haven't gotten to use the spa...that might be something I do at the new place since it is much nicer. Also, sometimes there are ghetto people who are not in our apt. using the pool/spa.

I have the case of the Fridays, so I'll need to get through the rest of the day and then have fun!

OMG OMG OMG!!!

It's the pink guy from Santa Cruz!!!! He's on Dlisted.com! I go on this site since it is funny.

No One is Here

I'm at work, and I'm the only one of the four of us in my dept. besides our head dude. So, that means it is really quiet in my work station and I will be falling asleep.

I myself do not feel that great. Yesterday I didn't either. I came knowing we have a building meeting and a party, so I have something to look forward to. I am curious what is going to happen to our building and eager to eat! I just need to get by the hours. I also called in sick last week, so I'm hoping to at least last this week without incident, meaning sickness. Last week I had a sore throat because of allergies. That was the second time that happened. Even the strong drugs didn't make me feel that great.

I'll need to drink a lot of water and try to avoid soda since my stomach has been acting up and I've been having leg spasms. I had one last night. Ouch! Just have to breathe it out.

Yesterday, I finally got to tutor. She lost my phone number, so she couldn't call to tell me to meet up an hour later than planned. I was feeling lousy, but just was there to help her. We caught up and decided to pick it back up the second week of September, after I'm done moving.

Afterwards, I picked up In and Out and it was oh so awesome. We talked about it at work, so I was really happy to get it. Went home, Mack called just before I started eating, so I told him I'd call back. No one gets in my way of In and Out! Went to bed early since I was so tired.

So, here I am, all alone in the back and still feeling tired and lousy. I hope I will feel better soon!

dot dot dot...

I'm feeling a bit blah just now. I can't wait to tutor...I just hope she can make it this week. It has been over a month since I've seen her.

Yesterday, my book project meeting went well. I stated my opinions on the ones I read and we have 7 now to look over for the next meeting. This has been fun so far.

I went home yesterday for my Sister's 32nd bday. Good food. Good times. I might have my bro help me move. That is crazy! I mean, it's because I never do things with him since he was all crazy before. He's getting better every year...I hope.

Going to do a lot of reading and cleaning out clothes today. I have to buy new bras eventually, so I'm going to get rid of a lot.

Can't wait until Fall. I'll be done moving, it will be cooler, I will have more clothes to wear, I can wear my Snuggie more. Yay!

Dog!

Yesterday, I got a phone call from Mack. He said that our friend Lee needs a pet sitter for his puppy Chihuahua. He is so cute! Tiny and follows you everywhere. We will have Rusten until this afternoon. Lee tried to put him on the train, but that is not allowed, so that is why this was all last minute stuff. Now Mack knows what it's like to have a dog, since Mack is one: follows me, hovers when I eat, and just looks cute.

I was able to make it to chorus practice. There were some new faces since there is a memorial for Shirley, whom I've never met. I chatted with Beth and Kristina before we all went inside and they learned about my Reno trip. It didn't help that everyone that went past us said, "are you doing ok?" and "good to see you upright". But, I was happy I didn't get crap for that. Everyone was gracious. I love this group of women! We sang some songs I've never tried before, so I'll need to practice them a lot more...

Today, my sister is 32. Yikes, getting up there...but still young! I'm going home for a bbq :) Food is always good!

Today, at lunch, I have another Campus Community Book Project meeting. I'm excited! It is so much fun! I can't wait to read more of the books.

Reno 911

Thursday: I watched tv and relaxed. I made my book selections for the campus community book project.

Friday: I got up early and got my nails done and packed. Drove to my carpool's house in Sacramento. We got to Reno around 5. I met Allen, a friend of Kati's and also her dog Sterling, who is a Terrier and a really good dog. We got to Circus Circus, hoping to find a kennel for the dog, but it was full, so Kati and I brought a big bag in order to smuggle the dog upstairs to our room. But, Allen insisted the dog stay in the car, especially since there were so many cameras in the hotel. I also said I don't want to get arrested, at least not this early. I mean, we just got to Reno!

We all went to the ballroom for the open bar party. Open bar will haunt me forever! I got red wine and some good food. Joey, our director, was very happy to see us all! Got a huge hug from him. We met his ex-bf and his bff. They are good guys. Some of us went to do a slot tournament. I got a really low score. I now have a card thingy like Mack's mom. Ahhh, we can bond at the casinos now. It was fun though, pushing the buttons for five minutes...and they lined up all the time! That is so not how the real slot machines work! I played Wheel of Fortune with my $15 free play on the card. Then, I went back to the open bar and Joey and his buds said I'm going to Drinx with them. The gay men were loving me. Drinx is in Silver Legacy, but it was all connected inside, so that was nice. Oh, this was funny. Joey asked where my man was. He said he is a good guy. I was like, how do you know? You need to hang out with him too! But, then he said, "Honey, I know these things." That was so great! Word spreads fast in our chorus! Ok, so at Drinx, I got more red wine and met some more gay guys. One bought me a drink. He was sweet. I called Mack around 10, and turned around and saw that my director and his ex were gone. So, I was telling this to Mack all dramatic and saying, omg, they are going to hook up! I went back to my hotel room. Got dizzy as I went to bed, threw up red disgusting stuff. Woke up, felt horrible, threw up bile. Such a pretty picture I paint. So, I ended up sick in bed and I missed the performance, the very reason I was in Reno. I feel so stupid and sad I missed it. I got home Saturday, happy to just sit and watch tv. Still felt crappy.

Sunday: I still felt a little icky, but a lot better. Went shopping in Roseville. Didn't make out with a lot of stuff. But, at VS, I had this lady measure me. She scoped out my boobs and said, you wear a 34D right? And, I'm like, ...no..?.36C. The lady was like, no you need to be 34D, 36 is too loose in the straps. I was like, oh good to know! I guess I'll have to buy some new bras... But I was just amazed that she just looked at them and told me that. But, she also put a measuring tape around me and that comfirmed it. She's a boob judging pro!

Back in Davis, Mack said potatoes, and I just needed to get Crepeville potatoes, so we went. It was so good! Went to Safeway for the second time that day. I felt crappy then, really tired. Read and watched tv when I got back.

I think that is the whole of the exciting events this weekend. ughhh...Reno gets you!

Weak and Sporting my Snuggie

Tuesday afternoon, I worked out. I was really tired afterwards, so I sat in my lazy boy and read until I took a shower around 8. I woke up with a sore throat and feeling weak, so I called in sick. I slept some more. Ate Chinese, but it didn't taste the same, as most the food I had recently has not been tasting the same. Weird. Watched a lot of True Blood in my Snuggie. I was so happy to bust that out! I was actually cold. This was weird, the UPS guy from work came to my door.

Today, I am still feeling weak. I hope it's nothing serious.

Give me Chocolate or Give me Death!

Went to chorus practice last night for our final run through before our Reno gig. I have Bittersweet Tango stuck in my brain. That's good, it might help me memorize the music.

Last night, to help me fall asleep, I watched some funny Youtube videos, like the Japanese game shows I've watched. I like laughing when I'm tired, it's hard to stop.

Awesome Weekend

On Friday, I picked up some more boxes at work. I went straight to the library book sale, and got a lot of awesome books. Very exciting! Relaxed and finished Shakes the Clown. I liked it more than Mack did. I thought it was really funny. I liked the side kick clowns with the mullets. Pic of one: Mullet clown.

Saturday: I got up early and a friend and I went shopping at Kohls. They had a massive sale and I saved $250 bucks! I got a ton of good stuff, but the best thing I got was two Snuggies! I was so excited! It is not cold enough to wear them, but it was a good deal, so I had to get them at that time. We went to some outlets, but I didn't really see anything. Got food at Panera-damn good. Went to Old Navy and bought a few things. Went to Fenton's for my book club. It went really well, in fact, we were there for three hours! Had awesome Oreo ice cream pie. Went to Borders and got a good deal on The Time Traveler's Wife. Went to Target, got some guy t-shirts and sweatshirts, and work out stuff. Went to Costco and got a massive amount of drugs for work. Went home, felt tired, but I did my new Core Rythems dvd workout and walk video.

Sunday: I woke up fairly early and read until Mack and I went to Cafe Italia for breakfast. So good! I had the energy to finish my laundry with that awesome food. I had a massive amount of laundry since I didn't have time before to do it. I then proceeded to box up some books. This turned into an all day get rid of crap and pack stuff day. In the end, I filled 8 trash bags of crap and threw them out, including mail, magazines, and just random stuff I never used. I also boxed up two things of stuff to have for the garage sale and another two bags as well. I was so hungry getting rid of stuff, so I bought Little Caeser's Pizza. I drove kinda scary because I was really hungry. Poor Mackenzie was in the car. Refueled and continued to clean out my closets. By 8 PM, I had about a quarter or less stuff in my closets as I did at 8AM. I was so happy! I worked out and went to bed.

So, that was an awesome weekend!

Now, it is that dreaded Monday, but it's been ok so far. Wearing some new clothes... :)

I need to add this video that Mack showed me. So funny!

Nauseous

I double checked the spelling of my title, and I can't believe I spelled it correctly!

I came early to work to pick up boxes for my move. We made breakfast burritos and I was too full and felt too nauseous to eat it.

Yesterday, I worked out and read a lot. Almost done with one of the books I wanted to read. I've held off pleasure reading for the time being so I can help a lot for the campus community book project. I want to look intelligent and have read a few books to give them some good feedback.

This weekend I plan on packing/weeding my book collection and reading a lot. Also shopping! I want to buy Snuggies!!! I may just hold off until after the move. One less thing to move. Uhggh! I will try not to say that word again. I just hate moving!

Look at this old lady move:

Oldest Showgirl

Ok, I'm mad. I read an article that states that the "fat cats" of the UC system are getting stipends and raises. That is our furlough money! Hey, why don't you guys just take some of our money, because hey, you need it and we can afford the cut! OMG! It makes me so sick that people could do that. How do they live with themselves? I'm going to write a nasty letter! Make it personal!

This kinda reminds me of people out there that justify being rich with being in God's favor. I do not believe that at all! In fact, Jesus lived in poverty, am I not right? I did not read all the Bible yet, but I do believe that this is not what Jesus wants. And these so called religious people just feel comfortable with believing that being rich and greedy is ok!

These fat cats are insane. I am being serious. Insane that this is what they think living is. Living is all about love, peace, and having a good heart and dreaming. That is how sane people, like myself, live. There are so many insane people in the world. It is a sickness, greed, and unsatisfication with their status and need for material objects that makes people insane. They do not live in the moment, but constantly think about their new raises, etc. It is too much that people think they can do things without consiquences. They will see that the economy will still suck since we will be getting pay cuts and thus can't afford some things. Are they that stupid not to realize this??? Ok, I feel a bit better.

It's too bad these people do not know how to live. They do not have the joy I have. I feel ashamed for them.

Blah

Ya, basically I feel blah. At least I got to workout yesterday (felt really fat). Read a lot. Got quarters for laundry. Got my Dreamweaver software! Can't wait to start that. Have to start packing books and dvds at least. Need to go through clothes and crap in my desk (mostly mail). Just a lot of stuff I don't look forward to that is due to the move. I cannot wait until that is all over with! I got a lot more fun stuff planned in August (Reno singing, River Rafting, etc.) so I hope that will distract me a bit from the moving part.

Chemical Smell pt.2

I go to work, and get to have the joy of smelling a delicious smell of chemicals. My stomach has been feeling a little queasy because of this.

Yesterday, I was really tired after work, and the only reason I went to the class was that my coworker was able to hang out with me until it started. I felt achy and tired...basically felt old. Got yummy pizza. I went home and watched Legend. That movie creeped me out.

I will hopefully get through this day ok, since I'm not feeling the best.

There was a stabbing at a Circle K in Folsom. Well, it is the least classy of the gas station food thingies. And, it is where Rufus dropped the time machine in Bill and Ted's. I get to live near one next year! I'm excited. lol

I went to the Silo to get a vat of soda (I think I got 32 or 44 oz.) but it is huge...and on the way back, some guy in a car asked me where the main hall was for freshman orientation. I told him I did not know which hall it was referencing. A girl in the back said Tercerro. So, I gave them directions. The guy driving just looked at me when I asked that question. It is one thing to get lost, but another to not know that there are about 30 halls on campus and none of them are (or ever would be) named Main.

Lovin' Singing

Yesterday, we had a rehearsal for Sacramento Women's Chorus after a month vacation and I forgot how much I love to sing and how much I love this group of women (and our adorable gay director). I warmed up a lot at home before going and that made a huge difference in my confidence and quality of singing that night. I was happy I knew a lot of the songs. I was happy that I got to buy a tote with our logo on it. I can't wait to sport it! There was a new potential member who is late 20's probably and I hope she joins. We need young faces! Only a few of us!

Since I have not done laundry, I only have really crappy clothes that I would only wear around home or really nice clothes. So, I'm looking good today.

Today is the last screen printing class. I just plan on eating pizza and watching the demonstration. I didn't have time or energy to create another design, although I have a lot in my head. I can always go in at another time to do those.

I've been listening to this one song over and over again by DMB called You Never Know on their Busted Stuff cd. It has such a good way to think about life, saying that you need to keep dreaming and that if you don't slow down your life, you will "soon be dead". Here are the lyrics.

You Never Know

We'll see if there is anything interesting in the news...

Pictures

Mack put up pics of camping and the soccer game on his blog.

Pictures

I forgot to mention I tried Miller Chill while camping. It is choice.

So the publicity meeting I had went really well. People liked my ideas for putting us on Facebook (and we are on it!) and also hoping to make a new website for us, they all agreed that it needs to be done eventually.

Watched a movie and read and was just really tired, so was really lazy.

Poor co-worker got a rude caller, stating that she is not helpful and hung up on her. That guy must hate his job. Must be stressful. And, his life must suck.

Good Weekend (so far)

I thought I would write a blog since I am waiting to go to a meeting and I've read a lot this weekend so I need a little break.

Friday: Went to Borders and bought a book on Dreamweaver, which will be soon coming to me in the mail (software). I hope to learn how to do websites (always looks good on resumes). Made chimichangas with Mack and watched X-Files.

Saturday: Read a lot. Prepared to going to Sac overnight at Merriot and going to the Park club. We got a MAC makeover and looked hot! The girl I had plucked my eyebrows and looks really good. Monica keeps going on Youtube for the makeup tutorials and I really want to look at those. It has been a long time since I hung out with these friends, and I found out a few new things, which I will not discuss. But, I have been so busy, that I need to catch up more. They told me how awesome it is that I am living life, and they wish to follow suit. They also read my blog, which makes me feel good. I hope to keep this up for a long time.

Sunday: Got back early and waiting to go to my publicity meeting for my chorus.
