Gas Station Munchies

Yesterday, my car didn't start so I had to take Mack to work (that is early for him). Today, I needed to get lunch, so I went to the gas station quickie mart and bought beef jerky, chips, soda, and a lunchable. Awesomeness. I think I need to eat better...

Was very tired on Sat and did nothing.

Sunday, shopped. It was pouring out.

I'm tired. Sleepy time?

Thanksgiving Weekend

Had a very good Thanksgiving weekend:

I took the day before Thanksgiving off to do laundry and clean and get a hair cut.

Thanksgiving: went to my parents. Mom forgot the ads, so Mack and I bought a newspaper solely for the Black Friday ads. We brought Momo and Nikki was excited to have a cat in his room. Momo mostly hid under the bed. Poor baby. So, the whole time before dinner, I hid my ring in my pocket. I caught my mom and dad looking at me and then giving each other glances. I kinda knew they were looking for my ring. Mom and dad seemed on edge. Mack and I played Monopoly with Nikki and he seemed to be doing pretty well. He didn't get what the point of the game was besides getting the cards for the properties and houses. When we all sat down for dinner, I told everyone Mack and I have an announcement. I said Mack proposed to me and I said yes and I pulled out the ring. Everyone was happy. Mom asked Sara when she was getting married, ha! The pressure is off us now! Drove to Santa Cruz that night. People tried to feed us more, and I couldn't believe Mack ate more. Put Momo in the Road Trek and we slept there.

Black Friday: had awesome breakfast, watched some Back to the Future and then decided to do something since it was nice out. We went to Downtown Santa Cruz where I went shopaholic on Mack. I love Urban Outfitters and Mack bought me an outfit for bday/Xmas. Then, looked at thrift stores and bought a few things. I wanted to spend more time at each place, but Mack whined every time I wanted to try on stuff and look. He encouraged me to look at the store too. You should know that womens love clothes. I'm not bringing him shopping anytime soon. But, Mack found some cool looking retro shirts, so that is his xmas present. Went to Starbucks because I had a gift card (Mack didn't want to be seen in this totally lame, non-local shop). I got a gingerbread late, but I couldn't stand it after a few sips. I think Mack's dad ended up drinking it. At least it was free. Downtown was about as packed as normal, with the normal crazies. Got two skirts for $2 each at Salvation Army. Awesome. I want to shop there again soon! Christmas time soon, and we are going back there. Played Apples to Apples with Mack and future bro in law. Always a fun game.

Caturday: ate leftover food and took off back home. Made a stop at Brian's and played my favorite game-Dominion. Then, traveled home which was long...yuck. Poor Momo finally had his territory back. Basically snuggle time at that point, even thought it was 5. We were tired.

Sunday: Worked out, watched tv, relaxed, put up Christmas stuff. We got Momo his own stocking in the shape of a paw.

Monday: went to chorus, really tired today. Hard to get back to working.

Tuesday: couldn't sleep that night, so took a sick day and was in Snuggie and pjs and watched tv all day. good times.

Today: back still sore, a little tired. Going to get nail done. Sleepy time?
